Six Cylinder Love is a 1923 silent film comedy produced and distributed by Fox Film and directed by Elmer Clifton. It is based on a popular 1921 Broadway play and stars Ernest Truex from the play. Also appearing in the film from the Broadway play were Donald Meek and Ralph Sipperly. Both Hedda Hopper and June Walker had substantial roles in the long running play but didn't appear in the film. Walker's part was played by ingenue Florence Eldridge in her very first film. Also making their film debuts are Donald Meek and Thomas Mitchell. In 1931 Fox produced an early sound remake starring newcomer Spencer Tracy. As 20th Century Fox the studio remade the story over again in 1939 as The Honeymoon's Over.

Gish plays Janice, a wealthy girl whose fortune has been entrusted to two trust company vice presidents (the "official fathers" of the title).
