Istoriya odnogo prestupleniya) is a 1962 Soviet animated film directed by Fyodor Khitruk and based on a screenplay by Michael Volpin. It was produced by Soyuzmultfilm. The score is by Andrey Babaev, with sound editing by George Martynuk.
It was the first film by Khitruk, whose role in the history of Russian animation led him to be recognized as a People's Artist of the USSR and a Meritorious Artist, and to receive the Order of the Red Banner of Labour and the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland".

Avec son charme insolent et terre-à-terre qui séduit à la fois les enfants et les adultes, la série - qui commence avec "Vinnie-Pukh (1969)" - a depuis développé une sorte de culte et est considérée par beaucoup comme surpassant de manière décisive ses homologues de Disney, même si elle s'intègre difficilement dans le canon officiel. La vie coule tranquillement dans la société ancienne. Chacun y trouve sa place et les gens consacrent leur temps à des discussions philosophiques sur le sens de la vie. Parmi eux vit Icare, un excentrique qui essaie d'apprendre à voler comme les oiseaux. Retombant à chaque tentative, il se voit asséner un proverbe par l'un des vieux sages qui observent la scène, comme, par exemple Festina lente, Quod licet Iovi, non licet bovi, Quo altior gradus, tanto profundior casus, Bene qui stat non moveatur, etc. Ces paroles atteignent le ciel et en retombent sous forme de monuments de granit. Mais un jour, un miracle se produit et Icare s'envole.

An important exhibit is stolen from the Royal Museum of Arts. Fuchs, its watchman and a gambler, was blackmailed by a mafia boss, also Chief of the Yacht Club, to steal the statue of Venus. After a period of harsh rain, the Great Valley is partially flooded and covered in debris. Littlefoot rushes to find his friends after the storm ends, but they are preoccupied: Cera and her father are removing a large log from their nesting area, Ducky and Spike are relocating their nest with their family, and Petrie has gotten a cold. Littlefoot is bored and instead of helping his friends clean up the dead bodies he selfishly wishes for a brother (a wish that will be granted in the next movie, although ironically they will not get along). Eventually he explores on his own and discovers a large area flooded by the rains. The adults advise their children to stay away, fearing creatures from the outside may have been washed into the Valley. However, Littlefoot thinks he knows best so, ignoring the advice, he goes anyways and meets Mo, a playful young "swimmer" that had been caught in the floodwater.
