Synopsis
Persistent exposure of ocean wildlife to a toxic goo used in oil drilling leads to the mutation of a shark into a monstrously big bulletproof shark that can even move on land. It destroys the oil rig that caused it, and then moves to Los Angeles where it eats a few divers and threatens to disrupt a bikini contest. A sideline to the plot involves lifeguards in their red bathing suits on the LA shore.Actors

The three finalists for Plaything Magazine's "Centerfold of the Year" are Inga (Raelyn Saalman), Betty (Tammy Parks) and Angel Grace (J. J. North). During a photoshoot, Betty makes some rather scathing remarks regarding Angel's appearance. Angel becomes self-conscious, and goes to Dr. Lindstrom at his clinic. Angel had taken beauty enhancing treatments previously, but now wants to get back on the program. Though Lindstrom warns her that any additional doses could be fatal, Angel still pleads to be put back on the program. Corporate real estate tycoon Hamilton Lux (Armand Assante) sets his sights on developing the quaint seaside town of Full Moon Bay into a prime getaway for the wealthy, but runs into some unexpected problems. Daniel, his marine biologist brother and a concerned E.P.A. agent must expose Lux's plan and rid the area of the chemically-altered sharks before the town's entire population is devoured by hungry sharks.
