Suwanda Denuna Jeewithe (සුවඳ දැනුණා ජීවිතේ) is a 2010 Sinhala Romantic/Musical film written and directed by Dhammika Siriwardana. The film features Roshan Ranawana and Pooja Umashankar in the leading roles while Gayathri Dias, Ramani Siriwardana, Richard Manamudali, Rex Kodippily, Himali Siriwardana, Pubudu Chathuranga and Sanath Gunatilaka also play key supporting roles. Produced by EAP circuit cinemas, the film had music scored by Mahesh Denipitiya. It released in June 2010 and was a very big hit in Sri Lankan Film History in that year. It also received good reviews from Critics.
Synopsis
‘Suwanda Denuna Jeewithe’ (Fragrance of Life) is the maiden directorial venture of producer Dhammika Siriwardena. Starring Roshan Ranawana and Pooja Umashanker in the lead roles, the movie revolves around a love story between a wealthy young man who finds an ordinary girl when he was suffering from the want of ‘true love’.Actors

After a long unsuccessful search, two royal servants arrive at Madura city, the capital of Madura kingdom, on the season of spring festival. Madura is a state under the control of Okkaka's empire. They place the statue near the river. Then the nanny of the royal family of Madura kingdom,Kudi (Kudi means hunchbacked woman) (Chandani Seneviratne) comes there and slaps the statue, because she recognized the statue as the princess Pabawathie (Pooja Umashankar), the daughter of king Madu (Palitha Silva), the king of Madura kingdom and his queen (Kusum Renu). Since a woman looks alike the statue is found, the marriage is arranged. Pabawathie is taken to Kusawathie city. Wedding is conducted without a groom.
