Tell Me O Kkhuda is a Bollywood drama film directed by Hema Malini, starring Esha Deol, Arjan Bajwa, Sudhanshu Pandey, Vinod Khanna, Dharmendra, Rishi Kapoor, Farooq Sheikh, and Chandan Roy Sanyal in the lead roles; Salman Khan makes a special appearance. It released on 27 October 2011 to mixed reviews at the box office. The music is composed by Pritam and lyrics were by Mayur Puri.

The film bears a resemblance to Malini's first directional venture Dil Aashna Hai (1992) and is an unofficial remake of the 2008 Hollywood hit Mamma Mia!.

Synopsis

The film is about of a girl named Tanya (Esha Deol) who learns that she is adopted and wants to know her biological parents. She travels across the globe to find them. The first man she visits is a Hindu king (played by Vinod Khanna) named Abhay Pratap, ruling a patriarchal district in Rajasthan, where female infanticide is common. However, it's revealed that another girl, not Tanya, is the true princess since her nanny had hidden the truth from everyone. Even the king hadn't known that his wife had given birth before dying in a fire.

Naseeb, a story of destiny and fate, begins with a lottery ticket. A drunk who cannot pay his tab trades: so he decides to sell his ticket to the waiter, Namdev (Pran), instead. Namdev purchases this ticket with his three friends Damu (Amjad Khan), Raghu (Kader Khan) and Jaggi (Jagdish Raj). Using a system of drawing out the highest card to decide who keeps the ticket, Jaggi wins, and the ticket stays with him. When the ticket turns out to be a winner, Damu and Raghu turn on the other two, murdering Jaggi and framing Namdev. Namdev goes on the run but Raghu and Damu intervene and throw him over a bridge into a river and Namdev is presumed dead.

An amendment in Independent India comes where kingdoms are seized and people from Royal family are no longer rulers.
