Synopsis
23 mars 1944, via Rosella à Rome. Trois pelotons de la police militaire allemande fond leur ronde en ville lorsqu'un résistant, déguisé en balayeur de rues, fait sauter un camion. L'explosion décime la troupe : trente-deux allemands sont tués. Le colonel Kappler, commandant en chef des SS, décide en guise de représailles de tuer dix italiens pour chaque soldat mort au cours de l'attentat. Avec l'aide du préfet de police de Rome, il dresse une liste de 320 personnes qui seront ainsi fusillés...Actors

In Northern Italy in 1944, the entire population of the village of Reanoto is massacred by the SS under the command of the cruel Sturmbannführer Taussig (Jacques Sernas) for helping the Italian resistance movement. The only survivors are a group of young boys in ages from 7 to 14 led by Aldo (Mark Colleano, son of Bonar Colleano and Susan Shaw) who witness the mass execution and vow revenge.
