Synopsis

En 1988 à Hiroshima, avant la promulgation de la loi contre le crime organisé, une rumeur prétend que le détective Shogo Ogami a des liens avec les yakuza. Il est associé au détective Shuichi Hioka et enquête sur une affaire de personne disparue impliquant un employé d'une société financière. Les conflits entre les groupes opposés de yakuza deviennent plus sérieux.

Le lendemain matin, celle-ci lui demande un revolver afin de tuer Akira Fujima, l'amant de sa petite sœur. The owner of a high-class Japanese hotel, the Europa, hopes to win a prestigious and lucrative contract for the hotel as the site of a summit meeting between important international officials. With Inoue's direction, the hotel staff comes together to face down the yakuza ruffians, who are portrayed as craven, outwardly-threatening-but-inwardly-weak, fools.
