The film follows Alexandre, a 15-year-old guy, who lives alone with his dad, enduring relentless physical violence. To escape from his daily life, Alex rows on the Meuse river, and has only one obsession: to win the Belgian Singles Championships.
The film received four nominations at the 1st Magritte Awards and won Most Promising Actor for Joffrey Verbruggen.
Synopsis
Alexandre a quinze ans et vit seul avec son père, dans les coups et la violence, en révolte contre tous. Pour échapper à ce quotidien sans répit, Alex se réfugie dans son sport favori, l'aviron, et n'a qu'une obsession, gagner seul et à tout prix les championnats de Belgique. In 1967, Hong Kong, Ben, Paul, and Frank are childhood friends and members of a gang. They regularly brawl with members of other gangs. They decide to go to Vietnam, as they have heard that there is money to be made as smugglers due to the war.

Jackie Dorsey, the daughter of Olympic Gold medalists Doug Dorsey and Kate Moseley from the original film, also enters the figure skating field, with ambitions of winning her own Olympic gold. However, a serious injury derails that ambition. After months of training, Jackie is finally ready to skate again but has trouble keeping up with the rigorous demands of singles skating. Her parents send her on a vacation to L.A., where she meets surfer boy/in-line skater Alex Harrison. Sparks fly between the two, but when Alex discovers who Jackie is, he rejects her. In the meantime, Jackie realizes that, considering the circumstances, pairs skating will give her a better chance at Olympic gold. Two horny college guys get summer jobs at a cheerleader camp for the summer. Friendly and naive Michael is mistaken as a homosexual even though he isn't. Eighteen-year-old Do Wan-deuk (Yoo Ah-in) lives with his hunchback father Gak-seol (Park Su-yeong) and stuttering uncle Min-gu (Kim Young-jae), former cabaret clowns now having to work in open-air markets after the closure of the nightclub they used for many years. Thanks to Dong-ju, mother and son finally meet for the first time. Meanwhile, Jeong Yun-ha (Kang Byul), the brightest pupil in class, has taken a liking to Wan-deuk after splitting with her boyfriend Hyeok-ju (Kim Dong-yeong). When Wan-deuk takes up kickboxing to funnel his aggression, Yun-ha helps him. But just when Wan-deuk has come to rely on Dong-ju's tutorship, the latter is arrested by the police for helping illegal immigrant workers.
