Add to a movie listLe Fourgon vert (en russe : Зелёный фургон) est un film soviétique en deux épisodes réalisé par Aleksander Pavlovski en 1983 adapté du seul roman d'Alexandre Kazatchinski , paru en 1938. Il s'agit de la seconde adaptation, le premier Fourgon vert, en noir et blanc, est sorti en 1959.
Synopsis
L'histoire se déroule dans les faubourgs d'Odessa après la révolution russe. Un certain bandit "Tcherven" terrorise la ville. Volodia Patrikeev, fils du professeur et idéaliste à peine sorti de l’adolescence rêve de combattre les ennemis du régime communiste. Il se présente au chef de la milice locale afin d’intégrer le service de répression du banditisme. Mais il est envoyé dans la banlieue démêler les petites affaires sans importance. Il a sous ses ordres un inspecteur du nom de Grichtchenko qui occupe son post depuis longtemps et connait le coin comme sa poche. C'est un homme de terrain et paysan dans l'âme, l'exercice de sa fonction relève de la pure improvisation. Effaré, Patrikeev constate que Grichtchenko rend aux habitants locaux "pour l'usage pour un certain temps" l'alcool saisi dans les distilleries clandestines, non pas pour contourner la loi, mais pour que le produit ne se perd pas. Son autre inspecteur Victor Chestakov est un autodidacte, un homme réservé et courageux. Avec Grichtchenko, le premier jour de leur collaboration, ils se font voler le fourgon vert qui sert pour tous les déplacements de leur brigade. Patrikeev est contraint d'arrêter pour ce vol l'un de ses camarades d'école, un certain "Krasavtchik" qu'il affrontait dans le temps sur le terrain de football et qui à cause de ce détail lui est d'autant plus sympathique. "Krasavtchik" s'évade. En le poursuivant, Patrikeev finira par tomber sur la planque de "Tcherven" et découvrir derrière ce surnom quelqu'un qu'il connaissait depuis longtemps.Actors

Dans les dernières années du régime de Salazar, Antonio Murillo est pilote militaire dans l'Angola en lutte contre le colonisateur portugais. In late 1969, Billy Covington (Robert Downey Jr.) works as a helicopter traffic pilot for a Los Angeles radio station, but after breaking several safety regulations on the job, the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration suspends his pilot's license. His piloting skills, bravery and disregard for the law are noticed by a mysterious government agent, who tells Billy that he can get his license back if he accepts a job in Laos, working for a "strictly civilian" company called Air America. En hiver 1922, le commissaire politique Glazkov accompagné d'un jeune subalterne Alekseï Bytchkov part pour la Tchoukotka. Sa mission consiste à assurer le contrôle de cette partie du territoire de la jeune république soviétique. Sur le chemin, Glazkov meurt de la fièvre typhoïde. Republican Senator Russell Kramer of Ohio (Jack Lemmon) wins the Presidential election, narrowly defeating archrival Democratic Governor Matt Douglas of Indiana (James Garner). Four years later, Douglas wins a landslide victory over the now-incumbent Kramer. Another four years later, Kramer's former Vice President, William Haney (Dan Aykroyd), defeats Douglas. His Vice President, Ted Matthews (John Heard), is widely seen as an idiot, and becomes a continuing embarrassment for the administration. The setting is the east shore of the Caspian Sea (modern Turkmenistan) where the Red Army soldier Fyodor Sukhov has been fighting the Civil War in Russian Asia for a number of years. The movie opens with a panoramic shot of a bucolic Russian countryside. Katerina Matveyevna, Sukhov's beloved wife, is standing in a field. Awakening from this daydream, Sukhov is walking through the Central Asian desert – a stark contrast to his homeland. He finds Sayid buried in the sand. Sayid, an austere Central Asian, will come to Sukhov's rescue in sticky situations throughout the movie. Sukhov frees Sayid, and they strike a friendly but reticent relationship. While traveling together they are caught up in a desert fight between a Red Army cavalry unit and Basmachi guerrillas. The cavalry unit commander, Rakhimov, leaves to Sukhov the harem, which was abandoned by the Basmachi leader Abdullah, for temporary protection. He also leaves a young Red Army soldier, Petrukha, to assist Sukhov with the task, and proceeds to pursue the fleeing Abdullah.

Le protagoniste est Vassili Ivanovitch Tchapaïev, un commandant bolchévique de la Guerre civile russe. Le scénario est basé sur le livre éponyme de Dmitri Fourmanov. Fourmanov en réalité était commissaire politique de la division commandée par Tchapaïev. Son livre est néanmoins romancé et non pas simplement documentaire. Dans le film, Fourmanov apparaît en personne comme un des personnages principaux. L'image épique de Tchapaïev créée par Boris Babotchkine est celle d'un homme sans instruction, avec peu de conscience politique affirmée, mais qui comprit instinctivement les buts des Bolchéviks et l'art de la guerre révolutionnaire. (Le Tchapaïev historique était un homme plus complexe). Dans une scène célèbre, le commandant explique à un de ses subordonnés une attaque contre les Blancs en utilisant des pommes de terre qui symbolisaient tel ou tel groupe militaire. Parmi les personnages principaux, on trouve Petka, jeune aide-de-camp de Tchapaïev, et une jeune fille, Anka, qui est responsable de la mitrailleuse. Dans la scène finale, Tchapaïev se noie dans le fleuve Oural.
