Synopsis
Adrián, un jeune et brillant chef d'orchestre espagnol, s'est installé dans une immense maison en Colombie depuis peu où il dirige le philharmonique de Bogota. Mais Belén, sa fiancée avec qui il file le parfait amour, ne tarde pas à le quitter sans raison avant de demeurer totalement introuvable. Un soir, alors qu'il va se saouler dans un bar pour oublier son chagrin, le jeune homme fait la connaissance de la belle Fabiana. Une histoire démarre rapidement entre eux, et celle-ci vient s'installer dans la maison d'Adrián. Les enquêteurs commencent alors à s'intéresser à la disparition subite et inexpliquée de Belén, suspectant Adrián d'avoir commis le pire. Quant à elle, Fabiana est témoin de phénomènes étranges, se sent observée, et en vient à avoir peur de la demeure. Mais Belén n'est pas partie bien loin.Actors

Office worker Marc scavenges for food in a downtown Barcelona building that has been ravaged by a catastrophic event. Directed to the basement to help dig a tunnel, he almost causes its collapse as he panics over the fate of his girlfriend Julia, who was staying at his apartment at the time of the catastrophe. In this complex spy caper, Nicole (Geneviève Bujold) is a Canadian broadcast journalist working on assignment in the former Soviet Union. She is there to cover a visit by the Canadian prime minister, but along the way she discovers an unethical experimentation on children involving the use of steroids, she is also involved in smuggling out a girl for emergency brain surgery. Director Jean-Claude Lord exploits the post-October Crisis paranoia that was rampant in Quebec with considerable panache with this skilful melodrama. Although the story is not about the events leading up to the War Measures Act, it does draw upon the fabric and feelings of that time. A young photographer (Réjean Guénette) becomes unwittingly entangled in a terrorist organization, which engages in a plot against prominent politicians and business leaders before an upcoming election. The film was hugely popular in Quebec and established Lord as a major director with this, his third feature.

Stéphane Blanchon, professeur en Suisse, mène une vie tranquille avec sa femme Christine. Ils logent chez eux une jeune Américaine, prénommée Belle. L'enquête révèle que Belle aimait Stéphane en secret. Après un interrogatoire, il est libéré. Au lieu de rentrer chez lui, il court les bars de Genève et finit par rencontrer un noceur débauché qui lui rappelle son père. Ivre, obsédé par les accusations injustifiées qui pèsent contre lui, il accepte de vivre une brève aventure avec une femme faible et vulgaire, la secrétaire du juge d'instruction. Mais à peine dans les bras de cette femme, il la tue. Au même moment, on découvre l'assassin de Belle.
