and Simon Sandquist, and based on Mats Wahl's book of the same name. The film follows Niklas, a young and quiet man who falls short of his mother's expectations, and then finds himself attacked by a neglected young girl Annelie (she too, is metaphorically invisible) and left for dead. The movie is not true to the novel and was condemned by the author. The films stars Gustaf Skarsgård, Tuva Novotny and Thomas Hedengran in the leads.
An American remake was released on April 27, 2007 under the translated title The Invisible.
Synopsis
Niklas (Gustaf Skarsgård) is a poet who wants to go to a school to exploit his talents, while his mum wants him to follow his family's footsteps and become something completely different from his dreams. He plans his escape and buys a ticket out of town to go to a special school in England, which he's been saving up for by writing papers for students in the school.Actors

Ivy Templeton (Susan Swift) is a ten-year-old girl, living with her parents, Janice and Bill Templeton (Marsha Mason and John Beck), in New York City. Her parents notice a stranger stalking them over the course of a few weeks, and discover, over lunch with him, that his name is Elliot Hoover (Anthony Hopkins). Hoover is convinced that Ivy is a reincarnation of his daughter Audrey Rose, who died in a fiery car accident, along with his wife, two minutes before Ivy was born. Hoover had come to believe this through information given to him by two clairvoyant psychics. Bill asks a friend of his, an attorney, to hide in their apartment to hear Hoover's full story to build a case against him, but when Hoover speaks Audrey's name out loud, Ivy hears him from her room and enters an altered state where she cannot be calmed down without the assistance of Hoover. In this state, she bangs her hands on a window and becomes burned, which Hoover says is a result of his daughter's experience of being burned alive in the car.

In 1958, Anna Jurin, a young cleaning woman, is sent to spruce up the abandoned St. Ange orphanage in the French Alps region. While leaving her husband, whom she has grown to despise, Alice (Sylvia Kristel) drives into the pristine countryside but must stop at an old house after her windshield cracks mysteriously. An old man and his butler welcome her at the mansion as if she were expected. The old man insists on her staying overnight. They even offer to have her car repaired in the morning. She is woken up in the middle of the night by a booming noise. The next day the car is there with a new windshield but she is alone in the deserted house. After a good breakfast laid out for her she jumps into the car again but she cannot find the gateway to the country house from whence she came. A tree trunk seems to be in the way. Reluctantly she returns to the old house. She then tries to walk the way with her suitcase and she meets a young man who tells her to accept the fact that there is no way out. Is she in limbo? She has to spend a second night in the mansion. The old man is there again and provides some explanations. The following day is a bright morning full of birdsong. Once more breakfast is ready for her in the lonely house. She takes the car again and here is the path and the gate to the highway. Is she really out? A few more strange characters come her way. Her windshield cracks again.

Sam Wheat (Patrick Swayze), a banker and Molly Jensen (Demi Moore), a potter, are a couple who renovate and move into an apartment in New York City with the help of Sam's friend Carl Bruner (Tony Goldwyn). Moments later, the mugger enters the apartment, evidently searching for something. When Molly returns, Sam scares their cat into attacking the thug, who flees. Following him to his apartment in Brooklyn, Sam learns that the man's name is Willie Lopez and he was looking for something in Sam's apartment and will return to find it later. Sam happens upon the parlor of Oda Mae Brown (Whoopi Goldberg); a con artist posing as a medium who realizes she has an actual gift when she can hear Sam. He convinces her of the danger that Molly is in and to warn her. She is met by skepticism until she relays information that only Sam would know.
