The Moro Affair (Italian: Il caso Moro) is a 1987 Italian crime film directed by Giuseppe Ferrara about the kidnapping of Aldo Moro in 1978. It was entered into the 37th Berlin International Film Festival, where Gian Maria Volonté won the Silver Bear for Best Actor.

Synopsis

Le 16 mars 1978, Aldo Moro, le chef du parti chrétien-démocrate, est séquestré par les Brigades rouges. Il sera assassiné le 9 mai suivant.

The film opens to the sounds of a couple having sex.
