Synopsis
L'histoire est la même que le premier film, l'intrigue tourne autour du personnage de Moro, qui retourne à Alma Ata afin de récupérer l'argent qu'on lui doit à la suite d'un combat qui fut interrompu par la police. Attendant son argent, il rend visite à son ancienne petite amie, Dina, et découvre qu'elle est devenue dépendante à la morphine. Il décide de l'aider à arrêter et combat la mafia locale, à la tête du trafic de drogue de la ville, responsable de son addiction. Mais Moro à un adversaire mortel, "le docteur", le parrain de la mafia, qui exploite Dina en cachant de la morphine dans sa cheminée.Actors

The film follows the story of Moro, a drifter who tracks down a drug-dealer who had made his girlfriend into an addict. Moro has nowhere to live so Dina allows him to live in her house. Spartak owes Moro money so they meet in a cafe which Spartak refers to as "Parliament". Spartak is revealed to owe a large quantity of people money. Moro also finds that her boss is selling her drugs. In an attempt to save Dina, Moro takes her away to the Aral Sea, turned into a barren desert by the time they arrive. There Dina seems cured, but back in town everything starts anew. Almost desperate, Moro decides to fight the drug dealers, led by a hospital doctor (played by another rock 'n' roll star, eccentric leader of the "Sound of Mu" band and the future star of Taxi Blues , Pyotr Mamonov), when one of them stabs him in a deserted park.

During World War II, the sailor Anatoly and his captain, Tikhon, are captured by the Nazis when they board their barge and tugboat which is carrying a shipment of coal. The Nazi officer leading the raid offers Anatoly the choice to shoot Tikhon and stay alive which Anatoly reluctantly takes, and Tikhon falls overboard. The Nazis blow up the ship but Anatoly is found by Russian Orthodox monks on the shore the next morning. He survives and becomes a stoker at the monastery but is perpetually overcome with guilt.

The protagonist, Aleksei, is a passive young outsider with a bloated body and poor vision. He does a monotonous job at ZAO Progress company (a typical name of a post-Soviet enterprise converted from a military plant into a company producing consumer goods), strives for nothing, wants nothing, is interested in nothing at all. He dedicates his free time to gluing plastic models of aircraft, which is quite similar to what he does at work. He apparently has no parents, perhaps they died, and lives in his grandmother's apartment, who loves her grandson and buys him second-hand clothes up to her taste. She must be an arduous Christian, but rather an andherent of one of numerous non-traditional confessions that emerged in Russia after the perestroika.

A young, rebellious Dutch woman (Lotte Verbeek) walks the trails of Ireland, vagabond by choice, enjoying the solitude she was looking for in the austere landscape of Connemara, in County Galway.
