Dave Bjorno, along with other members of the GSE, are arrested for participating in the fight at the end of the first film, and end up being sent to a tough prison. In prison, the GSE quickly discover the brutality of life on the inside, as they are constant targets of the superior numbered and better-financed Millwall crew. After a quick brawl the GSE get blamed for the assault and are transported to another prison where a huge number of Bushwackers are waiting for them. Soon after arrival the crew meet up with Marc and his crew, who declare their intentions to make the GSE's time in the prison tough. After throwing an insult about their deceased leader, Pete, they fight, are restrained and are, once again, blamed for the incident.

Dr. Eric Norris remains wracked with guilt after a terrible tragedy that cost him his family, and when he learns that an alien parasite is not only growing inside him but shares his DNA, he develops a fiercely paternal bond with the creature. On a distant planet, a wizard named Lerigot is being hunted by Divatox; an intergalactic space pirate, who seeks his golden key in order to traverse an inter-dimensional gateway and enter into matrimony with Maligore, a demon who promises to grant her great riches and power. The Power Rangers: Rocky DeSantos, Adam Park, Billy Cranston, Aisha Campbell, Kimberly Hart, and Tommy Oliver, participate with Bulk and Skull in a charity sky dive for the Angel Grove observatory, in anticipation of Ryan's Comet which will pass by in two days. Having waited too long, Bulk and Skull accidentally land in a construction site. They avoid getting into trouble before a giant egg is unearthed from a chamber underground. The evil energy alerts Zordon, an interdimensional wizard and the Rangers' mentor, who warns them of Ivan Ooze: a morphological being bent on the conquest of Earth. Zordon sends the Rangers to return the egg to its chamber, unaware that Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa have already freed Ivan Ooze and ordered him to destroy Zordon. Ivan leaves the Rangers to face his Oozelings while he lays siege to their Command Center and incapacitates Zordon. Meanwhile, the Rangers morph and dispatch the Oozelings before suddenly losing their powers. Making their way to the Command Center, they find it destroyed and Zordon outside of his time warp, now dying from rapid aging.
