Synopsis
Gianni (Gianni Di Gregorio) is 60 and might as well be invisible (except when it's helpful). Smothered by his mother (Valeria de Franciscis), ignored by his wife (Elisabetta Piccolomini), and befriended (against his will) by his daughter's layabout boyfriend, he finds retirement to be not quite what he'd hoped for. He sets out to find himself a love life, to comic and charming effect.Actors

Raju (Raj Kapoor) is a poor, friendly orphan who wins his bread by singing songs. One day he sees an injured man and helps him. Later he is kidnapped by few bandits who mistake him to be an undercover policeman. It then turns out that the injured man he helped is the leader (Sardar) of this gang. Bud Graziano said "Bomber" is a former heavyweight boxing champion who retired to private life on a ship. Jerry Calà is instead a Lombard punter who finds himself always in trouble and one day gets really big. In fact, he unwittingly sets himself against a group of thugs who answer only to the orders of a new boxing champion who is making the rounds in the area with his victories. Even Bomber collides later with this sample name Rosco. So Bomber, suddenly awakened his passion for boxing, opening a gym for amateurs and begins to train the promising young George. Below Bomber organizes meetings which also participates Rosco which, being too strong, knocks the young George. Mario, travaille comme metteur en page au journal du Parti communiste italien « L'Unità » et son épouse Maria comme pharmacienne. Le couple qui s'est formé depuis une dizaine d'années a deux enfants et traverse une période de crise due surtout à des motifs politiques. En effet, la Parti communiste cherche sa voie et deux courants s'affrontent, celui de Achille Occhetto (soutenu par Mario) et celui de Pietro Ingrao (soutenu par Maria). Dans la section PCI où ils sont inscrits, il y a un autre « Mario », un jeune technicien originaire du Sud Italie et lui aussi du côté de Ingrao.
