Synopsis
When King Charles I is captured by Roundhead forces led by the tyrant Colonel Judd and his right-hand man Captain Sylvester, it is up to a band of locals loyal to the King to try to rescue him. They are helped by Judd's daughter Claire who secretly helps them in defiance of her father...Actors

Indes, 1850. Le Fort de Kandahar est la constante cible d'attaques de rebelles en révolte contre L'Empire britannique. Le Lieutenant Case qui fait partie de la garnison est aussi un natif mais il est pris en grippe par les autres officiers qui sont jaloux de son succès sur le terrain. Lors d'une mission d'infiltration des rebelles, Case est malheureusement découvert par les espions rebelles et sa tête est mise à prix. Le Capitaine Connelly parti en mission avec le lieutenant est aussi capturé. De retour au Fort, Case est accusé de trahison pour avoir laissé son compatriote se faire capturer par l'ennemi.

A group of flight cadets arrive at RAF Cranwell to begin a three-year training course to become RAF pilots. In 1813, a band of deserters, British, French, and others, led by Sharpe's nemesis Obadiah Hakeswill (Pete Postlethwaite) and a French renegade named Pot-au-Feu (Tony Haygarth), takes over a Portuguese village. King Rudolf IV (Sellers) dies in a balloon accident upon the celebration of his seventieth birthday. In order to secure the throne, General Sapt and his nephew Fritz travel to London, where the King's son, Rudolf V (Sellers), resides and lives through the day in London's pleasure establishments; but the King's demented half-brother Michael (Kemp), thinking that he is the better claimant, sends an assassin after them. Hansom cab driver Sydney (or Sidney) Frewin (Sellers), the new King's half-brother from an affair with a British actress, rescues Rudolf from an assassination attempt. Once his resemblance to the King is noticed, Frewin is hired by the general ostensibly as the King's coachman, but actually to play the role of decoy. The ruse is quickly uncovered, however, when during an attack by Michael's men the royal guardsmen address Frewin as their new king, and the two look-alikes get acquainted.

Woodrow "Woody" Wilkins is an imaginative, yet eccentric, comic book writer and illustrator who demands a sense of realism for his comic book hero "Condorman", to the point where he crafts a Condorman flying suit of his own and launches himself off the Eiffel Tower. The test flight fails as his right wing breaks, sending him crashing into the Seine River. Later after the incident, Woody is asked by his friend, CIA file clerk Harry, to perform what appears to be a civilian paper swap in Istanbul. Upon arriving in Istanbul, he meets a beautiful Soviet named Natalia Rambova, who poses as the Soviet civilian with whom the exchange is supposed to take place, but it is later revealed that she is in fact a KGB spy. Woody does not tell Natalia his real name, and instead fabricates his identity to her as a top American agent code-named "Condorman". During the encounter, Woody fends off a group of would-be assassins and saves her life by sheer luck before accomplishing the paper trade. Impressed by Woody, and disgusted by how she was treated by her lover/boss Krokov when she returns to Moscow, Natalia decides to defect and asks the CIA to have "Condorman" be the agent that helps her.
