The Vulture Wally (German: Die Geier-Wally) is a 1921 German silent drama film directed by Ewald André Dupont and starring Albert Steinrück, Henny Porten and William Dieterle. The film is a bergfilm based on a novel by Wilhelmine von Hillern. It is a melodrama set in the Alps, and was one of Dupont's most successful films of the early 1920s.

En 1860, dans un village juif de Galicie, le jeune Baruch, fils de rabbin, se découvre une passion pour le théâtre. Pour son père, pas question de laisser son fils prendre cette voie, aux antipodes des traditions séculaires de la religion juive. Mais Baruch, poussé par son désir de jouer, rompt avec son milieu et part sur les routes en rejoignant une troupe de comédiens itinérants. Remarqué par l’archiduchesse Élisabeth-Thérèse de Lorraine, devant laquelle il s’est produit, il devient vite une vedette des planches. Malgré son succès, Baruch reste habité par la nostalgie des siens, et tentera de renouer avec sa famille.

Off-duty police officer Joe Collins (Max Martini), who was receiving a private lesson from Mike, sees that Laura is distressed and tries to take her coat. Startled, Laura grabs Joe's gun and fires it; shattering the studio's front window. To avoid having Laura charged with attempted murder, Mike and Joe agree to conceal the event.
