Add to a movie listEntertainment Experience is a film project in which two films are created: one user-generated film and one professional film. In the Netherlands the professionals version was made by Dutch director Paul Verhoeven. On 19 July 2014 the China edition of the project was launched (the local name is: 全民电影EEC). In China director John Woo and actress Zhang Ziyi will be the inspirational figures.
The script consists of eight parts. Part one was written by Kim van Kooten. The "crowd" (participators of the competition) subsequently wrote the scripts for the seven following parts. Both Verhoeven and the participating film crews made their film based on those scripts. The process of making the film was shown in a TV show on Dutch channel Veronica. The project was launched on 21 September 2011 and finished at the end of 2012.
Paul Verhoeven announced the name of the movie on 7 May 2012 on the television show De Wereld Draait Door. The international title of the movie is Tricked. (The title in Dutch was Steekspel. It was submitted by participant Trudi van der Stelt 'Trudiola'.)
On 24 September 2012, the movie premiered in Theater Tuschinski in Amsterdam. The version by Verhoeven as well as the version made by the public were shown.
On 28 March 2013, Tricked had its premiere for the public in EYE.
In March 2013, Lotgenoten (Counterparts), the version of the winning team IO Filmproducties helmed by Stephan Brenninkmeijer, was picked up by Benelux Film Distributors for nationwide release.

In October 1956, Ronnie, a Dutch woman married to a Canadian clergyman, is on a package tour of Israel. While visiting a kibbutz, she sees the local schoolteacher, Rachel Rosenthal, and they realise they knew each other during World War II. Scientist Sebastian Caine has developed a serum that can make a subject invisible. His team of scientists, which includes ex-girlfriend Dr. Linda McKay and Dr. Matt Kensington, eventually enable the serum to work on a gorilla and restore it to visibility. The film begins in 1881 at Stavoren, a small town on the outskirts of the Netherlands, and follows the journey of Katie's family to Amsterdam, where they hope to escape the grinding poverty of their native town by finding work in the capital. Upon their arrival Katie manages to secure employment at a dye-works, but is fired when she refuses to have sex with the company director. She manages to find a job at a hat shop, where, during a business trip to a brothel, she discovers her older sister Mina is working as a prostitute. Later that evening, back at the hat shop, she is brutally raped by the owner and, as an act of revenge, smashes the shop window.

The film is about a group of students from Leiden, the Netherlands, amongst them Erik Lanshof (Rutger Hauer), Guus LeJeune (Jeroen Krabbé), Jan Weinberg (Huib Rooymans), and Alex (Derek de Lint). Robby Froost (Eddy Habbema) is a friend of Erik, and Esther (Belinda Meuldijk) is Robby's girlfriend. Each of them follow a different path and therefore have a different role in World War II, either as a collaborator or in the resistance. Part of the story is set in London, where Queen Wilhelmina (Andrea Domburg) has residence. The students Erik and Guus fight alongside Colonel Rafelli (Edward Fox) and soldier Susan (Susan Penhaligon) of the allied forces in London.
