Synopsis
The Iron Bow, The Tigress et White Water Strand, trois segments d'un film à sketches qui célèbre l'aventure et l'action du cinéma de Hong-Kong. THE IRON BOW : Ying Ying, une jolie jeune femme gagne humblement sa vie en tenant la caisse d'une boutique de Thé. Shih Shao-peng, un fils de bonne famille devenu voyou, lui déclare sa flamme, sûr d'être aimé en retour. THE TIGRESS : la dynastie Ming se fissure, de nombreux brigands avides de pouvoir veulent conquérir les terres moins bien protégées. Psang Hsun attaque la ville du commandant Li Ching-Jan. WHITE WATER STRAND : C'est le nom d'un endroit resté célèbre à cause d'une féroce embuscade destinée à délivrer Green-faced Tiger Injustement accusé de vol, il est prisonnier de soldats qui le mènent en prison.Actors

Hu Te et al. escape the burning Shaolin temple after the Qing soldiers destroyed it in Shaolin Temple. The group of 5 decide to develop secret codes to identify fellow patriots, enlist those patriots and eventually meet up again to escape to the south away from the Qings, and also identify the traitor who sold out Shaolin temple. Ma Fu Yi (the traitor, played by Wang Lung Wei), joins the Qing top fighters to eliminate the rebels but is exposed by Ma Chao-Tsing who gets captured by Ma Fu Yi. Hu meets up with a group of Shaolin men secretly posing as bandits to rescue Ma as their leader is killed in the process, thus the bandits join the rest of the Shaolin patriots.
