Turning 30!!! is a 2011 Bollywood film produced by Prakash Jha and directed by Alankita Srivastav - a longtime assistant of Jha.

The movie features Gul Panag, Siddharth Makkar and Purab Kohli, with music composed by the music director duo of Sidharth-Suhas, whose past works include Dil Dosti and Bhram.The film is a young urban love story and women centric film and for the first time a non-political story by Prakash Jha.

Synopsis

Turning 30 is the story of the protagonist of the movie Naina (Gul Panag) who is about to celebrate her big three oh and life is a perfect picture with a good job and the perfect guy. However, things turn into a nightmare when her boyfriend breaks up with her to marry a girl who can finance his fathers failing business. She has some setbacks at work when the credit for all her ideas and hardwork goes to undeserving people. With few days left for her birthday she is in a mess - constantly trying to win the guy back. The movie also tells the stories of her two best friends Malini and Ruksana who stand by her and support her though they are going through some rough patches in their lives.

The story is based on five friends: two young couples Nandini (Gul Panag) and Navin (Purab Kohli), Yash (Neil Bhoopalam) and (Gunjan Bakshi), plus their mutual buddy, the hugely overweight Sudeep (Ranvir Shorey). Nandini and Navin are about to get married when disaster strikes. On their way home from Navin's bachelor party, the three boys — Navin, Yash, and Sudeep — are involved in a car crash where one of them is killed. An angel named Vijay (Brijendra Kala) escorts Navin to heaven. But when Navin wakes up in heaven, he discovers to his horror that through a clerical error Vijay had collected the wrong soul from the accident site: it was Sudeep, not Navin, who was destined to have died in the car crash! Navin makes a scene in the overcrowded waiting room of heaven and demands that he be returned to earth, and to his loved ones. But by this time Navin's body back on earth has already been destroyed. So the angel Vijay arranges for Navin's soul to return to earth into Sudeep's body. This film is about how Navin (Purab Kohli) returns to earth and has to woo his beloved fiancée Nandini all over again ... now trapped in the body of "Fatso" Sudeep (Ranvir Shorey).

Ratna comprend et s'intéresse au désarroi sentimental d'Ashwin, qui s'ouvre peu à peu au dialogue avec elle. Leur relation va progressivement échapper au strict cadre du service.

Salman Khan is a Bollywood actor, who is on a live tour nearby Delhi, where his private jet has a crash. Luckily, he survives and in a lounge, he meets Katrina Kaif. She tells him a story, about six friends and their boss who all work together at a Mumbai-based call centre. They are instructed never to reveal their location, and speak with an American accent by a Boston-based company. There is Shyam (Sam) (Sharman Joshi), Priyanka (Gul Panag), Varun (Sohail Khan), Esha (Isha Koppikar), Radhika (Amrita Arora) and Military uncle (Sharat Saxena). Their boss, Subhash Bakshi (Dalip Tahil), attempts to further his career by plagiarising software, agrees to lay off 40% of the Indian workforce, and re-locate to Boston. One night, at a party, they all get drunk and decide to head back home since it was late. The six are on their way home, until they approach an accident, and are stuck on top of a cliff in their car, and if anybody tries to move, there would be chances that the car will lose its balance and fall off the cliff. They all remain calm, and when one of the friends tries to call someone, he finds his phone battery has run out, therefore, in rage he breaks his phone and throws it on the floor of the car. Later on, still trapped in the car, the broken phone receives a phone call; six surprised friends answer it, only to find the caller is God. God tells the six, they should keep calm, and just believe in themselves and all will be well. They do as they are told, and find that the fire brigade are here to save them. They all get saved. After the story, Khan asks the woman who she is, and she replies "if you believe in yourself, you will know the answer". She walks out of the lounge, and as Khan follows her, he seems to witness she has suddenly disappeared. He believes in himself, his jet gets fixed, and he flies back home.

The film opens with the elderly Ravi (Soumitra Chatterjee) driving to an abandoned carpet factory in West Bengal. As he explores the remains of the factory, he finds his bed and other memoirs. The story flashbacks to the early 1940s in pre-independent India, with Ravi Gupta (Sikandar Agarwal) a child laborer in the factory, saving up his earnings so that he can leave the factory one day. Ravi befriends a girl of his own age, Masha (Tumpa Das), who's been sold to the factory by her father. When the obstinate factory manager (Biplab Dasgupta) tries to sell Masha to a rich man, Ravi unsuccessfully tries to match the bid. He subsequently gives her the money to escape, and as they part Masha promises to wait for Ravi at every full moon at Calcutta's great Shiva temple.
