Bienvenue à Marwen (Welcome to Marwen) est un film américain réalisé par Robert Zemeckis, sorti en 2018. Il s'inspire du documentaire Marwencol de Jeff Malmberg, lui-même basé sur la vie de Mark Hogancamp. Avec un budget de 39M$, le film rapporte moins de 13M$ au niveau mondial.
Synopsis
Après s'être fait tabasser dans un bar, Mark Hogancamp est resté plusieurs jours dans le coma. À son réveil, il est frappé d'amnésie. Il va alors se créer un monde imaginaire, Marwen, un village belge fictif durant la Seconde Guerre mondiale. La création de ce village en miniature devient une obsession. Comme une auto-thérapie, Mark invente des lieux imaginaires qu'il peuple avec des poupées représentant principalement des femmes de son entourage et de son passé. Dans ce monde imaginaire, son alter ego Captain Hogie côtoie ainsi la sorcière belge Deja Thoris, GI Julie ou encore Caralala. Tout cela lui redonne la force physique et mentale nécessaire pour le retour à la réalité : Mark doit se rendre au procès de ses agresseurs.Actors

In 1981, Forrest Gump (Tom Hanks), a man with below-average intelligence, watches a feather fall from the sky at a bus stop in Savannah, Georgia. As he sits down on a bench, he removes a copy of The Adventures of Curious George from his suitcase and places the feather inside the pages. He introduces himself and begins telling his life story to strangers who sit next to him on the bench, recounting his childhood in Greenbow, Alabama. As a child in the 1950s, Forrest (Michael Connor Humphreys) had to wear leg braces for which other children make fun of him. He lives with his single mother (Sally Field) in a very large house outside of town, which they rent rooms to travelers. His father apparently left and he never knew him. Despite his limited mental capacity, Mrs. Gump tells her son that "stupid is as stupid does" (which he later uses as a retort when called "stupid") and also assures him that he is no different from any of the other children. Forrest is admitted to public school despite his IQ being below the cut-off, but only after his mother agrees to a one-night stand with the principal, Mr. Hancock (Sam Anderson). On his first bus ride to school, Forrest is rejected by nearly all of his peers except for Jenny Curran (Hanna R. Hall). He and Jenny become best friends, and he helps her hide from her abusive, alcoholic father. One day, while fleeing from bullies, Forrest's leg braces break apart and he discovers that he can run very fast. A few years later, Forrest inadvertently runs onto the field during a local high school football match and catches the attention of Coach Bryant from the University of Alabama who is scouting for players. Forrest attends the university on an athletic scholarship and becomes a college football star, earning him a spot on the College Football All-America Team and a trip to the White House to meet President John F.

In 1978, narcissistic, manipulative Madeline Ashton performs in a musical on Broadway. Airline pilot captain Whip Whitaker (Washington) uses cocaine to wake up after a night of very little sleep in his Orlando hotel room. He pilots SouthJet Flight 227 to Atlanta which experiences severe turbulence at takeoff. Copilot Ken Evans (Geraghty) takes over while Whip discreetly mixes vodka in his orange juice and takes a nap. Andy Stitzer (Steve Carell) is a 40-year-old virgin who is involuntarily celibate. In the year 2092, Nemo Nobody is a 117-year-old man, the last mortal on Earth. Humanity has conquered mortality through the endless renewal of cells, living in a shining future accompanied by their stem cell compatible pigs. The world watches in fascination as Mr. Nobody edges towards death, curious to know of life before quasi-immortality. Nemo says that he remembers nothing about his past and a psychiatrist, Dr. Feldheim, tries to make him recall memories through hypnosis while other memories are told to a journalist. Nemo spits out contradictory pieces as he is prodded, and no one is sure what happened and what did not. He is an enigma, often thinking that he is only 34 years old with no traceable record of his life. He recounts his life at three primary points: at age nine when his parents divorce, at age fifteen when he fell in love, and at age thirty-four as an adult. All three unfold into their many possible outcomes.
