Yesterday is a 1985 Polish drama film directed by Radosław Piwowarski. The film was selected as the Polish entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 58th Academy Awards, but was not accepted as a nominee.

Synopsis
L'histoire nostalgique de quatre copains de lycée fascinés par les Beatles qui forment un groupe de musique et jouent les chansons de leurs idoles. Le héros principal du film, Paweł Mitura ("Ringo") grandit sans parents. Il habite chez sa vieille tante profondément catholique qui a une attitude négative envers la passion de son neveu. Les garçons se préparent à donner un concert pour la fin d'année, et pour cela ils sont obliger de surmonter les difficultés imposées par le système socialiste et des problèmes avec du matériel désuet. Pendant ce temps-là Paweł tombe amoureux d'Anna.

Yash learns of the marriage and disowns Rahul; whereupon Nandini and Rahul share a tearful goodbye. Nandini sends Sayeeda (Farida Jalal), Rahul and Rohan's nanny, to watch over him. Rahul visits Rohan in the Boarding School and begs of Rohan never to ask where he went or why he left, and asks that he take care of Nandini.
