Ken (Ken Carson) is a Mattel toy doll introduced by Mattel in 1961 as the fictional boyfriend of toy doll Barbie introduced in 1959. Similar to his female counterpart, Ken had a fantastically fashionable line of clothing and accessories. In the Barbie mythos, Ken and Barbie met on the set of a TV commercial in 1961. Mattel has never specified the precise nature of their relationship. Since his debut, Ken has held at least forty occupations.Best films

Barbie is at the premiere of her latest movie when her rival and co-star, Raquelle, steps on her dress, ripping it. Her stylists, Carrie and Taylor, use magic to mend it. Crystal, a photographer, greets Carrie and Taylor and, taking one last picture of Ken, leaves to go back to Gloss Angeles. Crystal shows Princess Graciella the pictures she took at the premiere. She gives the Princess a love potion, which, due to the effects, turns her eyes from blue to purple. Crystal then shows the Princess the picture of Ken she took, and Graciella falls in love with him on the spot.

Andy, now 17 years old, is about to leave for college, and his toys have not been played with for years. He intends to take only Woody with him, and puts Buzz Lightyear, Jessie and the other toys in a bag to be stored in the attic. Andy's mother mistakenly takes the bag to the curb for garbage pickup. The toys escape and, believing Andy intended to throw them away, decide to climb in a donation box with Barbie bound for Sunnyside Daycare. Woody follows them and tries to explain the mistake, but they refuse to believe him.

The movie starts with Barbie filming a movie called The Princess and the Pea based on the classic story by Hans Christian Andersen, but she is fired when she questions the director's innovations. After reading unkind comments about her on the Internet and beginning to doubt her future as an actress, Barbie receives a phone call from Ken, saying that he wants to break up with her immediately. Advised by her best friends, Teresa and Grace, to get away for a while, Barbie goes to Paris to visit her Aunt Millicent, who runs a fashion house.
