Misti Cheler Dustu Buddhi is actually about three thieves, Kalicharan and his two sidekicks, Puti and Baka who decide to rob and go back to their old tricks after Kalicharan is released from jail. They decide to rob the occupants of the Mitra household: an elderly man, Pradosh Mitra, his two sons and their families. They decide to carry out the robbery at a time when the house will have no occupants according to information received by them. Accordingly they act. But they couldn't be successful because, unknown to them, Pradosh and one of his grandsons, 7 year old Som have decided to stay back and create havoc for them. All their efforts to rob the house are in vain as little Som turns out to be more than a handful for all of them.

Remake of Tamil movie Ninaikkaadha Naalillai. Debdutta and Arun are inseparable childhood peers who maintain an excellent bonhomie as adults. While Arun becomes a cop, Deb joins a refrigerator company as a senior executive. Meanwhile Deb falls in love with Kabita. While Deb and Kabita plan to marry, Kabita recommends her closest friend’s name (Kajol) as a partner for Arun. Debdutta goes to Arun and lays out the plan and the duo hope to marry together, in the same day. But things go awry when Arun hurts himself while defusing a car bomb. He burns so badly that doctors abandon all hope. Succumbing to injuries, a dying Arun requests Deb to bring Kajol for a final instance. Deb goes to fetch Kajol, but her uncle Binod bashes up Deb because he has diverse plans of marrying Kajol to a Dubaian tycoon. Deb gets back to the hospital unscathed, shivering in despair. Meanwhile Kabita arrives at the venue. Deb requests and prays Kabita to act as Kajol only for a solitary instance, as the last wish of a dying man (Arun had never seen Kajol). But after experiencing Kabita as Kajol, Arun miraculously returns to life from the jaws of death. Kabita gets tragically stamped as Kajol and Deb sacrifices his love for the sake of his peer. Deb searches out Kajol, but she gets stabbed to death by Binod. Abandoning all hope Deb advises Kabita to marry Arun and remain Kajol for her forthcoming life. A dumbstruck Kabita prepares to sacrifice everything. But on the day of marriage Arun reveals that he knows every move of the sacrificing couple and ultimately the estranged and tested lovers re-unite.

Obelay Gorom Bhaat is a comic film and its story revolves round five intimate friends – Panchugopal Mitra (Biplab Chattopadhyay), Rustam (Chinmoy Roy), Banabihari Das (Subhomoy), Dibakar (Bibhu Bhattacharya) and Sardarji Abnit Singh (Paran Bandopadhyay). Dibakar stays with his daughter and son-in-law, bachelor Panchu stays with his sister and her daughter Runi and the others have their own families. They go to morning walk together in order to watch beautiful girls’ but bachelkor Panchugopal Mitra is strict and an exception among them. The rest four friends realize that Panchu is being like a dictator and insults them unnecessarily. One evening they get drunk and give slangs against Panchu, but when police arrests them (before plays Kabaddi with them) Panchu comes and rescues them. We can see Kharaj Mukherjee here in a short role of a police officer Badan Pramanick. As Panchu’s sister and her daughter who stay with him are going to attempt a marriage ceremony he decides to go to Digha with friends. Due to family problem four of them deny to go then Panchu decides to go alone. But as soon as reaches the room no. 202 in hotel See View in Digha, he finds Miss Raima (Pamela) coming out of bathroom and seducing him. Confused Panchu drives her out of his room but later brings her back after rescuing from a few goons. He feels Raima as his daughter and thinks if he can change her. In this mean time, the four musketeers arrive at Digha and make fun of Panchu. Later they disclose that it’s a plan to send a call girl at his room. Panchu gets upset and the other four feels sorry. When five of them together decide that they will help the girl to live modest life. Miss Raima tells them her story – how she came to Kolkata leaving her father’s house to become an actress. From Roma she became Miss Raima, she confesses its her first assignment and she is not a professional. Her boyfriend Rahul (Abhishek Chattopadhyay) is also struggling to become a director. To help the couple the five ex-servicemen decide to contribute 2 million rupees each and produce a film named “Obelay Gorom Bhaat”. In that film Rahul will make the debut as a director and Raima as an actress.

Mahim Ghoshal is a conspiring manager of businessman Amar Banerjee. While Amar banerjee has 2 wives (Mamata & Sabitri) Mahim takes an advantage of this situation. Amar Banerjee has two separate families in two separate places. Mamata feels insecure about Amar's second fiddle Sabitri while Mahim takes advantage of this situation. He advised and influences Mamata to give him ransom so that he may kill Sabitri and his own son Debnath, Mahim sends a killer who brutually knives Sabitri to death. In the heat of the moment the killer shoots and kills Sabitri's friend too. Sabitri's son Debnath and his best friend Sibnath manage to escape from the grasp of the hired assassin with Sibnath's sister Rani. But sadly the 3 children get separated. Debnath becomes Deba Mastan while Sibnath turns out to become Siba. Rani becomes a torger and finds a sidekick within Pangla. Incidentally Sibnath was brought up by Amar Banerjee's driver Sanatan, an outright honest man. After Amar Banerjee's death Mahim Ghoshal pounces upon his mission of engulfing the Banerjee property. He blackmails Mamata and coerces her to accept her that her daughter Tina to be married with Mahim's insane son Rocket. But Sibnath arrives at the judgement moment to save Tina from getting married with the hoodlum. Sibnath declares as the son-in-law (Jamai) of the Bamerjee's, i.e. Tina's husband and begins his mission of fighting Mahim Ghoshal, Rocket and his allies. Mahim on the other hand brings Debnath as a wild card and introduced his to Mamata as Sabitri's long lost son. Mamata acceptrs Debnath as her slipson while Tina also gives consent. But as Sibnath and Debnath don't recognise each other as childhood pears they constantly fight and combat each other. But ultimately truth prevails. the childhood mystery of all three are revealed and while Mahim Ghoshal in punished the entire family reunite again.

The film deals with the life and aspirations of ajoy(Soham Chakraborty), a needy but meritorious Youngman, though he had been the district topper in his school leaving exam yet he had to leave his studies and go to kolkata to work in a college, ajoy had been too stunned but had decided to sacrifice his dreams for his family, he had worked hard and even taken care of the garage owner. Younger brother in need of rs 10 lakh for training abroad. Asks ajoy for it he expresses inability brother disheartened mother asks him to borrow from girlfriend's family. It is against his principles. He mortgages garage. Brother returns after training. Buys a new car gets money from endorsements but denies paying back ajoy's money. ajoy's garage taken over. His girlfriend moly gets angry to know about it. He does not confide in her as he does not want to boast to boast about helping his own brother mili's father offers to send him abroad with a job he does not accept. She breaks off their relationship younger brother gets selected in Indian team meets mili decides to get married unaware of her relation with ajoy(Prosenjit Chatterjee). ajoy works as a hawker after marriage he comes to know of ajoy's(Prosenjit Chatterjee) truth brother also gets to know of the past-starts suspecting them humiliates him he leaves the house and goes back to old home. Sister comes to him for help as she was pregnant. The film is about an honest police officer, Agni (Prosenjit Chatterjee) whom terrorists are trying to murder but end up killing a number of school children in a school bus. The police officers are very worried about the rising crime rate and they vow to curb their attempts. Agni is given the charge. Agni while trying to save people from a terrorist attack in a shopping complex rescues Tina (Neelanjana) who falls in love with him. She later discovers that he is married to Chandrani (Rachana Banerjee) and even has a son Apu (Master Anshu). However this does not deter her love for him. She keeps on finding ways to go to Agni's house. She also becomes friendly with Apu. One day she takes Apu with her from school without Chandrani's permission. Apu studies in a school owned by Dr. Sayol (Tapas Pal) who does not have a child. Meanwhile Agni succeeds in catching members Pamela and Peter of the terrorist gang. During this time Agni's son is locked up by the principal of his school, who is thought to be kidnapped. Agni tries his best to find his son but fails. The principal then releases Apu who is then taken care of by Anu. Meanwhile the political agents come and kidnap Apu murdering Anu. Agni then agrees to release Pamela and Peter in return for his son. He is asked to go to the airport and place a briefcase laden with bombs. He fights with the gangsters and finally rescues his son. At last the politician is also put behind bars.
