Il est surtout connu pour avoir incarné Quentin Durward dans la série éponyme en 1971 et a participé à bon nombre de séries telles que Tatort, Inspecteur Derrick ou encore Le Renard. Au cinéma, il est notamment apparu dans La Course à l'échalote (1975) avec Pierre Richard et Jane Birkin. Il meurt du SIDA à l'âge de 50 ans.Best films

C'est une passion insatisfaite. Depuis de nombreuses années, le baron de Leisenbohg est épris de Claire, une célèbre soprano. The film begins in 1917 with the opening of the 1000th Woolworth's store, known as the Woolworth Tower. Barbara is seen with her family as her grandfather, Frank Woolworth, delivers a speech. After the commemoration, Frank expresses his disappointment to his daughter Edna that her husband Franklin was not present to celebrate the opening of the new store. Edna acknowledges that her husband is a philanderer, drunk, and gambler but replies that he still happens to be Barbara's father. Later that night in their apartment at the Plaza hotel, Edna leaves Barbara a note under her pillow, then walks back to her room and drinks poison. Barbara wakes up to find her mother dead.

In January 1945, as the Second World War in Europe is reaching its end, much of the Netherlands remains under Nazi occupation. One night, a Nazi collaborator is shot dead on his bicycle. The family whose house he falls down in front of moves the body in front of the neighboring house, where the Steenwijk family lives. The Nazis, assuming that the Steenwijks killed the collaborator, execute the parents and older brother together with a large number of hostages. Burning the Steenwijk's house to the ground, they imprison the younger brother, Anton. The other person in his unlit cell is an older woman. Anton can see only her mouth. She spends the next few minutes comforting him until he is removed from the cell.

Policeman Philippe Jordan works in Marseille. He intercepts the delivery of a shipload of heroin by jumping out of a helicopter onto a speedboat and throws all drugs into the sea. Drug lord Mecacci is desperate to get rid of Jordan and arranges an incident which leads to Jordan's disciplinary transfer. Jordan continues to fight against the drug cartel after all. He finds a valuable witness named "Freddy, the chemist" but Mecacci has Freddy killed before he can testify. When Mecacci's henchmen also murder Jordan's old friend Francis Pierron, Jordan retaliates immediately. Now Mecacci tries to lure him into a deadly trap. After Jordan has outsmarted Mecacci's killers he confronts their boss. The time for the final showdown has come.
