Biography
Il commence à travailler dans le cinéma en 1974 en tant qu'assistant au montage et devient monteur à part entière à partir de 1978. En 1980, il est nommé à l'Oscar du meilleur montage pour The Rose. En 1983, il remporte l'Emmy Award du meilleur montage pour une minisérie ou un téléfilm pour Les oiseaux se cachent pour mourir. Il meurt le 16 mai 2007 à l'âge de 64 ans.Best films

The film begins with 5-year-old Danny (Jude Law) and his military father visiting a family friend's, Grace's (Brenda Blethyn), house at Thanksgiving. When Grace goes into labor, Danny's father asks him to unwrap the umbilical cord from the baby. After a successful birth, Danny decides to himself that the baby girl born, Anna (Gretchen Mol), is meant to be with him forever, and states that he will marry her.

While making love in their tent during a work expedition in Nepal, photo-journalists Ted Harrison (Michael Paré) and his girlfriend Marjorie are attacked by a werewolf. The werewolf snatches Marjorie and Ted attempts to rescue her but gets bitten in his shoulder and thrown to the ground. Hurt but determined he crawls to his shotgun and manages to shoot the werewolf's head off but not before the beast kills Marjorie.

Set in a small 1940s Alabama town, the film follows Collin Fenwick (Edward Furlong) as he is sent to live with his father's maiden cousins, the sweet Dolly (Piper Laurie) and the overbearing Verena (Sissy Spacek), following the death of his mother. As school ends for the summer, Gerald Garner (Aaron Schwartz) is sent by his parents to Camp Hope, a weight loss camp for boys. Despite worrying at first, Gerry makes friends easily at camp and learns that Camp Hope is actually a lot of fun and won't be nearly as bad as he thinks. (As one veteran of the camp put it, Gerald is "not the fat kid, everyone's the fat kid.") He also discovers that the other campers have smuggled in enough junk food to easily stave off the hunger pangs and probably counteract any weight loss that the camp programs cause.

Alex Rogan is a teenager living in a trailer park with his mother and little brother, Louis.
