From 2002 to 2008, she starred as Detective Claudette Wyms in the FX police drama The Shield. In 2009, she appeared as Mo'at in James Cameron's film Avatar. She starred in recurring roles as Mrs. Irene Frederic on the TV series Warehouse 13 until its series finale on May 19, 2014 and DA Tyne Patterson on the FX TV series Sons of Anarchy. Biography
Pounder is married to Senegalese anthropologist Boubacar Kone. The couple were married in an African ceremony in Dakar, Senegal and remarried in Los Angeles, California six months later. Kone is the founder of the Musée Boribana in Dakar, for the study of cultures of the African diaspora. They have three children, Nicole (b. 1971), Libya (b. 1973), and Matthew (b. 1982).Pounder has six grandchildren: Elisa (born 1994), Michelle (born 1999), Kelly (born 2002), Libya (born 2005), Enid (born 2007), and Matthew (born 2010).

L'agence crypto-zoologique Monarch déploie de nombreux moyens pour combattre des créatures de tailles divines, appelées Titans. Ces derniers réapparaissent petit à petit des entrailles de la terre. Batman rescues Riddler from a black ops assassination ordered by Amanda Waller, returning him to Arkham Asylum. Invoking Priority Ultraviolet, Waller captures criminals Black Spider, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, KGBeast, Killer Frost and King Shark forming the Suicide Squad. Their mission is to break into Arkham Asylum and recover a thumbdrive in the Riddler's cane. While in Waller's employ, Riddler copied information on the squad, and is planning to make it public. She forces them to comply by threatening to detonate nano-bombs implanted in their necks. KGBeast, who believes the bombs are a bluff, walks out on Waller and is killed as an example to the others.

New York City teenager Clary Fray begins seeing a strange symbol, worrying her mother Jocelyn Fray and her mother's friend Luke Garroway. Kate and John Coleman (Vera Farmiga and Peter Sarsgaard) are experiencing strains in their marriage after their third child was stillborn. Owen, a young reporter for a Los Angeles-based music magazine, goes back to his Florida hometown to interview Sherry, a local rock singer. Zora Banks (Sanaa Lathan) moves from Manhattan to her newly renovated brownstone in Brooklyn. Franklin (Wesley Snipes) is polishing the floors in what will be her new apartment. Franklin informs her that she cannot move in yet due to her wood grain floors not being dry. An upset Zora then threatens to fire one of the moving men, who proceed to leave her furniture and boxes on the sidewalk. Desperate, she asks Franklin to help her move her things. After moving her in, they begin to talk and he asks her who is helping her unpack and get settled in; she replies by saying no one is helping her. Franklin offers to help and, although skeptical, Zora eventually takes his offer and they agree to meet the next evening.
