Demon Kakka (デーモン閣下, Dēmon Kakka, born November 10, 1962), previously known as Demon Kogure (デーモン小暮, Dēmon Kogure), is a Japanese musician, entertainer, journalist and sumo commentator. He is the frontman of the heavy metal band Seikima-II, and is known for always working entirely in character.
In December 1982, he and Damian Hamada formed Seikima-II. In accordance to their "prophecy" and after completing their "world conquest", the band disbanded at the end of the century on December 31, 1999 at 23:59:59. They have reunited for reunion tours in 2005 and 2010.
He released his first solo work in 1990, and after Seikima-II disbanded focused on his solo career.
In 1994 Demon appeared on Larry King Live, becoming the first Japanese musician to do so.

Demon attended Toin Gakuen High School and graduated with honors from Waseda University with a degree in social science. His elder sister, Yumiko Kogure, is a former Tokyo Broadcasting System newscaster.In December 1982, he and Damian Hamada formed Seikima-II. The movie begins with Phantoms Medusa and Phoenix approaching some Gates who are trapped in a strange machine and Xatan, Eel and Gahra, a trio of monsters known as the Akumaizers appear before them, claiming that the machine makes use of the captives' mana to summon revived monsters endlessly as part of their plan to get revenge on the Human Race for banishing them to the underground thousands of years ago. Upon learning that the Phantoms were sent there by their leader Wiseman to assist them, Eel opens a time portal to travel to five years in the future.

In the aftermath of Godzilla's attack on Tokyo and his later imprisonment at Mt. Mihara. a team of scientists discovers cells left in the rubble by the monster and collects them. A group of American militants takes a sample of their own. They attempt to escape with them, but are killed by a lone assassin codenamed SSS9, who steals the sample and departs. He boards a cruise liner and heads to the Republic of Saradia to deliver the cells to the Saradia Institute of Technology and Science. The president of the institute wants to use the cells to merge with genetically modified plants, hoping to transform Saradia's deserts to vast greenery and end the country's dependence on oil wells for wealth. Dr. Genshiro Shiragami and his daughter, Erika, are enlisted to aid with the ambitious project. However, a terrorist bombing destroys the institute's laboratory, ruining the cells and killing Erika.
