Étés 1984 et 1985, sur la plage de Forte dei Marmi : le film nous offre un portrait attachant de l'Italie des années 1980 avec ses personnages aux aventures entremêlées. In World War II a group of Italian soldiers is sent to Egypt to provide assistance to the local population. The military, however, should expect other directives from the Duce Benito Mussolini but completely lose contact with the Italy. So the members of the brigade, including some very curious and picturesque as the Captain who loves poetry to stay closer to his wife away, you ambientano with the local customs and forget their duty as soldiers. The movie is a tale about a young boy aroused by the sexual awakenings and the political views of the Italian youth. It's set around a group of friends. Silvio (the main character), Ponzi (his best friend) and a group of boys and girls that go to the same school. The school everybody goes to is threatened of being privatized. So the students are gathered to decide whether to occupy the school or take a different action. The most radical kids end up setting the tone of the oncoming manifestation and so the school is going to be occupied. In the night the friends gather, girls in one place and boys on the other. They smoke and share experiences. Martino tells the boys that he's had sex with his girlfriend, and that he can last about ten minutes. On the other hand, as the girls chat, his girlfriend tells her friends that it was all very fast.

At the turn of the century of China, the White Lotus Society plots to put the sinister Manchu Emperor Yuan Shikai (William Ho) to become the Emperor of China.
