Jason Charles Miller is a singer-songwriter known for his solo albums as well as being the lead vocalist and guitarist of the industrial rock band Godhead. He is also a voice actor in various animation and video games.

Biography

Born in Cheverly, Maryland. Miller's voice credits include work on World of Warcraft, Wonder Woman, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Hellsing, Read or Die and the Nickelodeon produced Avatar: The Last Airbender. His film credits include Danny Roane: First Time Director, the 2008 remake of Day of the Dead and the Sci Fi Channel's Battle Planet. When he is not performing in Godhead, Miller collaborated with Ben Moody and Jason 'Gong' Jones of Drowning Pool for the song "The End Has Come", which appeared on the soundtrack of the film The Punisher and often appears on Cleopatra Records tribute albums along with Julian Beeston, formerly of Nitzer Ebb. He also worked on a cover album from the fighting game series Guilty Gear, titled Guilty Gear XX in N.Y. Vocal Edition, where he supplied vocals over the instrumentals to create a full vocal album. In 2011 he once again lent his vocals to another cover album, this time for BlazBlue, the successive fighting game series to Guilty Gear, titles BlazBlue in L.A. Vocal Edition

Before Miller was ever in a rock band he actually studied and performed opera music.

Miller has the same birthday as Marilyn Manson. Marilyn Manson signed Godhead onto his Posthuman Record label to produce the "2000 Years of Human Error" album. Once the album gained success, Manson and Miller had a falling out for unknown reasons.

At the height of his rock career Miller abruptly decided to start singing country music for unknown reasons.

Miller released his first solo album, Last To Go Home, on October 27, 2009. He provided the voice of Robert Kendo in Capcom's video game Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles for the Wii. In 2011, he cameoed in an episode of the webseries The Guild.

After more than a decade as frontman of Godhead, Jason Charles Miller began creating music as a solo artist, exploring his musical roots, stripping his music to its core, and paying homage to the artists that touched his life from his youth. Jason released his solo album Uncountry to be more than just Miller’s full-length solo debut, but also a story set to music. It is the path that took him to Godhead, his progression through the music industry, and his evolution as a solo artist. While his Last To Go Home EP was a bare bones introduction to the Miller many fans never knew, Uncountry adds flesh to the skeleton.

Miller relocated to Los Angeles a decade ago, where he owns a recording studio and thrives as a recording artist, writer and producer, voiceover artist and actor – but living in the shadows of Hollywood has made his southern disposition shine. Splitting time between Los Angeles and Nashville, his love for country and blues has intensified, as has the influence of those that have defined his music roots: Johnny Cash, Neil Young, Kris Kristofferson, Merle Haggard, Fleetwood Mac, Bad Company…
His first solo recording was “You Get What You Pay For,” and the single struck a big chord in country music circles, featured in the HBO hit series True Blood and including appearances from friends Felicia Day (The Guild) and Greg Grunberg (Lost, Heroes, Felicity) in the video. The “Uncountry” video reveals Miller’s lighter side, as well as guests Robert Picardo (Star Trek: Voyager) and Grant Imahara (MythBusters).

Miller’s music was also featured in the pilot of Hung, and he was asked by Bret Michaels to remix the Rock of Love theme song for the Poison frontman’s Custom Made solo album. His songwriting can currently be heard on the WWE Smackdown theme “Hangman,” which was recorded by (and co-written with) the rock band Rev Theory.

Centuries ago, the Amazons, a proud and fierce race of warrior women, led by their Queen, Hippolyta (voiced by Virginia Madsen), battled Ares (voiced by Alfred Molina), the god of war, and his army. During the battle, Hippolyta beheaded her son, Thrax (voiced by Jason Miller), whom Ares forcibly conceived with her, who is fighting for his father. Hippolyta then defeated Ares, but Zeus (voiced by David McCallum) stopped her from delivering the death strike. Instead, Hera (voiced by Marg Helgenberger) bound his powers with magic bracers so that he was deprived of his ability to draw power from the aura of violence and death he could instigate, effectively rendering him mortal, and only another god could release him. In compensation, the Amazons were granted the island of Themyscira, where they would remain eternally youthful and isolated from Man in the course of their duty of holding Ares prisoner for all eternity. Later, Hippolyta was granted a daughter, Princess Diana (voiced by Keri Russell), whom she shaped from the sand of the Themyscirian seashore and gave life with her own blood.
