Leonard J. Goldberg (born January 24, 1934, in New York City) is an American film producer and television producer. He has his own production company, Mandy Films. He served as head of programming for ABC, and was president of 20th Century Fox. Goldberg is currently executive producer of the CBS series Blue Bloods, starring Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, and Bridget Moynahan.

As a television producer he is known for producing several highly acclaimed television films, including the Peabody Award-winning Brian's Song (1971) and The Boy in the Plastic Bubble (1976); the latter helping to launch John Travolta's movie career. He also produced a string of hit television series while in partnership with Aaron Spelling; the best-known being Charlie's Angels, Hart to Hart, Starsky and Hutch, and Family. He produced the Oscar-nominated movie WarGames as well as the comedy The Bad News Bears in Breaking Training.

He also produced the Emmy-winning television film Something About Amelia, which aired on ABC in 1984. It was one of the highest-rated television films, watched by around 60–70 million people.

Goldberg served as president of Twentieth Century Fox, where under his aegis the studio produced such critically acclaimed hit films as Broadcast News, Big, Die Hard, Wall Street, and Working Girl. Under his own banner, Leonard Goldberg produced the successful motion picture features WarGames, Sleeping with the Enemy, Double Jeopardy, and Charlie's Angels. Most recently, he produced Unknown, starring Liam Neeson, Diane Kruger, January Jones, and Frank Langella, released in theaters in February 2011.

He has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6901 Hollywood Boulevard and was inducted into the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame in 2007.

Biography

Leonard Goldberg est décédé au centre médical Cedars-Sinai de Los Angeles le 4 décembre 2019, à la suite de blessures subies lors d'une chute. Il avait 85 ans.

After rescuing U.S. Marshal Ray Carter (Robert Patrick) in Mongolia, the Angels, Dylan (Drew Barrymore), Natalie (Cameron Diaz), and Alex (Lucy Liu) are hired to locate a set of titanium rings called H.A.L.O. (Hidden Alias List Operation) stolen from the Department of Justice that, when put together in a machine, will display a list of all individuals in the witness protection program. Many people, including Justice Department official William Rose Bailey (Bruce Willis), who possessed one of the rings, were murdered in the process. Having discovered that one of the protected witnesses, Alan Caulfield (Eric Bogosian), was murdered in his house in San Bernardino, the Angels investigate the scene and discover evidence suggesting that Caulfield was smothered with a bag and the killer is a surfer with a scar on his left leg. Meanwhile, Natalie and her now boyfriend Peter Kominsky (Luke Wilson) are moving in together, with some help from Alex's boyfriend Jason Gibbons (Matt LeBlanc), whose relationship with Alex is on a "time out".

T.J.Burke quits his job in Detroit and convinces his friend Dexter Rutecki to move to Aspen. After succeeding in tryouts, they both become ski instructors.
