Zane Copeland, Jr. (born July 11, 1982), better known as Lil' Zane, is a rapper & actor born in Yonkers, New York and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. He is best known for his debut album Young World: The Future, released in 2000, which featured the single "Callin' Me" featuring 112.

Biography

In 2007 he attended St Andrews University.

In 2010 Zane had his first daughter named Nina.

In 2012 Zane was injured in an early morning car collision leaving 2 of his crew members including security personnel in the ICU with internal bleeding.

He was leaving a charity event in Tampa, Fl. which he performed at, The power steering of the vehicle failed causing the vehicle to be stalled parallel along the lanes of a busy highway before being struck by a speeding SUV.

On September 14, 2014 Zane was sent to the hospital due to kidney failure.

Emery Simms is a highly educated and successful business tycoon whose life takes a turn for the worse when he engages in an adulterous fling with the wildly free-spirited and exotic Allanah James. Emery kills a man who tries to get information out of him, which is then witnessed by another man who flees. Emery does not notice the dead man's cell phone, which has all their calls logged in. He then makes a phone call to his friend who does not answer. Later he meets Allanah whose car has broken down. He gives her a ride to her job unaware she is working an angle to get what she wants. He then calls her and insists they have dinner. They do but the police follow them seeing them make out as does a man that is following her. The crazed man comes to the restaurant and attacks Emery. Emery goes to see Allanah and sees the place she lives in then takes her to one of his properties, which is a condo. She makes herself at home and even invites a friend over who tells her that she can keep the condo and life if there is a hole in the condom. Allannah says no. Emery drops by for sex and she has her friend wait outside so she can do what she needs to with Emery.

In 1980, a young boy named Darrin Hill (Cuba Gooding, Jr.) and his mother, MaryAnn (Faith Evans), are run out of town after MaryAnn was soon discovered to be a singing secular music when she also sings in a church choir. Aunt Sally (Ann Nesby) attempts to defend MaryAnn, but it fails. The church's cowardly pastor, Reverend Lewis (Wendell Pierce), is too afraid of the other church members to let her stay. MaryAnn and Darrin are last seen saying goodbye to Aunt Sally, as they sadly wave goodbye with each other. In 2003, Darrin has grown up to become a successful advertising executive in New York City with a bad habit of lying. Darrin's only true friend and secretary, Rosa Lopez (Lourdes Benedicto), does a good job at keeping his credit problems under control. However, Darrin has achieved so much under false pretenses and faked his college degree and high school diploma. Darrin also lied about being the son of a congressman, and his lies soon catch up with him and get him in trouble with his paranoid boss (Dakin Matthews) and Darrin loses his job. After being tracked down by a private investigator, Darrin soon finds out that Aunt Sally has died.

Sixteen-year-old Jamal Wallace (Rob Brown) plays basketball with his friends in New York. A recluse, William Forrester (Sean Connery), lives on the top floor of the building across from the court. The kids regularly notice him watching them. One of the boys dares Jamal to sneak into the apartment and retrieve an item. Jamal takes a letter opener only to be surprised by Forrester and inadvertently leaves his backpack behind. Forrester later drops Jamal's backpack onto the street. Jamal goes home to find that Forrester wrote notes in his journals. Jamal returns to Forrester's apartment and asks him to read more of his writing. Forrester tells him to begin with 5,000 words on why Jamal should "stay the fuck out of my home", which he completes and leaves on the doorstep the following day.
