Pratt attended Chesley District High School in Chesley, Ontario. Pratt graduated summa cum laude in Kinesiology at Toronto's York University and took at job there in the Human Performance Lab, testing professional athletes including the players of the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Winnipeg Jets and the San Jose Sharks. She was offered a scholarship to the physiotherapy Master's program at the University of Toronto but declined the offer. She co-authored a book about bodybuilding and fitness with one of her former university professors. Pratt was a professional fitness model along with WWE's Trish Stratus and Torrie Wilson.
Career
Robert Kennedy, publisher of MuscleMag, convinced her to study acting and she began attending classes at the Actors Network in Toronto. She began to land acting roles in 1998, including the science-fiction TV shows Once a Thief (as Jackie Janczyk), Cleopatra 2525 (as Sarge) and Mutant X (as Shalimar Fox).
In 2006, she had a lead role in the ABC series Day Break as police detective Andrea Battle. Of the 13 completed episodes, only 6 aired before the series was canceled.
Personal life
Pratt has a blue belt in Shotokan karate and is a keen kickboxer.
She divides her time among Toronto, Los Angeles and New Zealand.
Victoria Pratt is known for her roles in Mutant X and Cleopatra 2525, and did some TV series and movies as well. In 2012 she played with Jodi Lyn O'Keefe in the Lifetime Movie A Nanny's Revenge. An American corporation sets up operations in Mongolia to search for shale oil by pumping superheated water into the earth. The project encounters mysterious mechanical failures and delays while at the same time, the on-site manager, Patrick (Drew Waters) is apparently planning to steal something that is currently hidden in the plant, and sell it to a group of unknown buyers. He is worried that the equipment failures and delays will attract too much attention from 'corporate.' Unfortunately, this is the least of his problems, as the drilling operations have disturbed a nest of Mongolian death worms that are known in the legends of the indigenous people—monstrously long and lethal creatures that tunnel underground, similar to the creatures grabiod seen in Tremors (film), though slimier looking, with an enormous maw of teeth, poisonous venom, and the ability to generate an electromagnetic field that interferes with communications and other equipment.

Heiress Martha Dennison (Victoria Pratt) seeks out professor Jonathan Brock (Rick Schroder) to help find her husband, Edward, who disappeared four years earlier on an expedition towards the center of the Earth. At first Jonathan is hesitant to go despite Martha's offer to handsomely pay him, giving him the opportunity to pay off the debts left to him by his recently deceased father, while his nephew and aspiring journalist Abel is excited for the opportunity to get real life journalistic experience. After reviewing Edward's notes Jonathan is persuaded to go along. The two of them, along with Abel, go to the newly acquired Alaskan territory to gather information about Edward and his expedition and find a Russian guide, Sergei, to aide their search of her husband. They struggle to cover a large amount of ground in only 10 days based upon information recovered from a crudely drawn map. They find and enter a mine shaft in a volcano, venturing deep into the center of the earth. Along the way small signs are found of the previous expedition along with the skeleton of Mikael, a friend like a brother to Sergei, and see it as an ominous sign of what's ahead. Abel constantly lags behind taking notes and pictures of the journey and discovers a passage to a strange new land.

Nina Hamilton (Tori Spelling) is a happily married children's book author and illustrator, who along with her doctor husband Noah (Tahmoh Penikett) have been trying several times to have a baby, when they suddenly move back to Noah's hometown. When they move back they agree to try another round of in vitro fertilization. Nina meets Callie (Victoria Pratt), a waitress, the two become fast friends, though Nina doesn't know the extent of Callie's background with Noah. The two were dating in high school and Noah performed an abortion on her when she got pregnant with their baby. One day Nina's beloved cat Tess is found dead and Nina is devastated. Nina and Noah go in for another unsuccessful round of in-vitro, and is distraught that she can't get pregnant, and is told there are only two embryos left and set another appointment. Callie, becoming increasingly obsessive of Noah, goes in for the procedure and learns, while she's with Nina, that she's pregnant. Though happy for Callie, Nina is unaware that Callie is carrying her child with Noah, and is saddened that she's not pregnant. Nina and Callie go shopping for the baby, where Nina tells her she can do more with her life and should look into other career paths such as real estate. Callie agrees and asks a female real estate agent if she can apply. The woman, having a low opinion of Callie, rudely dismisses her. Callie comes back later and kills her. Nina starts becoming suspicious of Callie's pregnancy when she learns the father is married and starts after going in for her final in vitro procedure and learns that the embryos were implanted already.
