Matthew Sussman (born March 8, 1958 in New York) is an American actor, photographer, and documentary filmmaker.
Sussman graduated from Brown University and was trained at the Yale School of Drama.
Sussman has appeared in numerous films, including Kate & Leopold and Pollock, in which he played the artist Reuben Kadish. Sussman also appeared in three episodes of The Sopranos in 2000 and 2002 as Dr. Douglas Schreck. Other films include John Turturro's Mac and Illuminata. His television work includes appearances in Sex and the City, Law & Order, and the short-lived Peter Berg series Wonderland.
On the New York stage Sussman appeared in MCC Theater's premiere of Tim Blake Nelson's The Grey Zone, directed by Doug Hughes. He was also a member of the original Broadway company of Angels in America, and the U.S. premiere of Shopping and Fucking with Philip Seymour Hoffman and Justin Theroux. He also had major roles at the Seattle Repertory Theatre, Portland Stage, and Steppenwolf Theater in Chicago.
Credited as Nathan Price, he worked as a voice actor on many anime dubs, primarily for 4Kids Entertainment. His best-known voice role was that of Meowth in the Pokémon anime for the first thirty episodes. He also voiced Gravos and King Moros in Slayers Next.
In 2001, Sussman began working on a series of documentaries for a variety of international television production companies. In 2007, he directed the documentary feature film Who is Norman Lloyd, which premiered at the 2007 Telluride Film Festival followed by a run at New York's Film Forum. He was the associate producer and narrator of World Wedding, on TLC and Discovery International.
As a photographer Sussman focuses on commercial work, portraits, celebrities, and music. He is the house photographer at New York's Village Vanguard.

The film begins in March 1836 in the Mexican State of Coahuila y Tejas town of San Antonio de Bexar (now Downtown San Antonio in the U.S. state of Texas), site of the Alamo, where bodies of Texan defenders and Mexican attackers are strewn over the Alamo. The film then flashes back to a year earlier. Sam Houston (Dennis Quaid) attends a party where he tries to persuade people to migrate to Texas. He meets with David Crockett (Billy Bob Thornton), recently defeated for reelection to Congress. Houston explains to Crockett that as an immigrant to Texas, Crockett will receive 640 acres (2.6 km) [a square mile] of his own choosing. Crockett, with a grin, pointedly asks Houston whether this new republic is going to need a president.

The film opens with a clown (Buscemi) whose wife (Beals) and stripper girlfriend (Parsons) just discovered each other's existence. In 1876, Prince Leopold Mountbatten, Duke of Albany (Hugh Jackman), is a stifled dreamer. After the death of tycoon and philanthropist Oscar Winterhaven Oglethorpe, a ballet company is founded in his name by his widow, Lillian (Nancy Marchand). The formation of the ballet company leads to ambulance-chasing attorney Roland T. Flakfizer (John Turturro) vying against Oglethorpe's former attorney Edmund Lazlo (John Savident) to be director of the company. Lazlo is chosen to be director of the company after signing the greatest ballet dancer in the world, "The Great Volare" (George de la Pena) to dance for the company. Flakfizer, however — with assistance from his two associates Rocco (Mel Smith) and Jacques (Bob Nelson) — earns a spot as co-director by wooing the wealthy widow and by signing the company's leading ballerina (Juliana Donald, billed as Juli Donald) and her dancer boyfriend Alan Grant (Spike Alexander). The ensuing struggle between Flakfizer and Lazlo leads to comic hijinks, including a badger game involving a chorus girl (Teri Copley), and an opening-night performance ludicrously sabotaged by Flakfizer and his cohorts.

Niccolo (Mac) Vitelli is the oldest of three brothers and becomes the de facto head of their family after their father dies. Their father was in construction and the brothers follow in his steps.
