Michael N. Grossman is an American film and television director.
He has directed a number of episodes from dozens of different television series, perhaps most notably his work on Grey's Anatomy and the backdoor pilot ("The Other Side of This Life") of its spin-off, Private Practice. His other directorial work includes, amongst others, the series Charmed, Zoey 101, Angel, The Invisible Man, Arli$$, Firefly, Star Trek: Enterprise, Earth 2, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Gilmore Girls, Drop Dead Diva, Manhattan, AZ, One Tree Hill, Las Vegas, Eureka, Dirty Sexy Money and Pretty Little Liars.
Prior to working in television, Grossman was an assistant director on the films Hide and Go Shriek (1988) and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990).
He also directed the television films Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh (2008) and Starstruck (2010).

The film starts off with Walter (Jonathan Goldstein) and Audrey (Nancy Sullivan) leaving for a tropical vacation. Drake (Drake Bell) and Megan (Miranda Cosgrove) come home and Josh (Josh Peck) shows them his snowman air balloon decoration. Megan cuts the string holding the air balloon down, making the snowman glide away, and Josh runs after it. The scene shifts to Drake and Josh going to the Premiere. Drake tells Josh that he will be throwing a Christmas party on the roof of the Premiere, which Josh does not approve of because he is not sure that Helen (Yvette Nicole Brown) would approve either. Drake tells him that he has already spoken with Helen about it and that it is fine as long as she is invited (and if there are churros).

Kenan et sa famille décident de traverser le pays. Roger ne veut pas que Kel vienne avec eux, mais Kenan et Kyra ne l'écoute pas et mettent Kel à l'arrière de la voiture sans que Roger le sache mais plus tard il découvre ce dernier. La famille et Kel passent leur première nuit dans la forêt. Plus tard, ils rencontrent un étrange couple obsédé par le ketchup. Après ça, Roger raconte une histoire de fantôme, Kenan va aussitôt chercher du bois après avoir été effrayé. Dans les bois, il est attaqué par un être connu comme le chevalier sans tête. Le lendemain, Les Rockhmores et Kel s'arrêtent au bord d'une route et, rencontrent de nouveau ce couple bizarre. Avant de partir, Kenan est choqué de découvrir une exposition sur le chevalier sans tête qui coupe la tête des gens et découvre que le chevalier aurait été vu récemment dans une ville appelée Rockville. Après, leur voiture tombe en panne, Kenan et Kel partent alors à la recherche d'aide et découvrent un manoir. Le propriétaire du château, Arthur, propose à ces derniers de rester chez lui pour la nuit. Kenan et Kel vont alors découvrir le secret que cache ce manoir.

Le père de Jason Smith, sur son lit de mort, lui fait promettre de disperser ses cendres sur la tombe de sa femme, la mère de Jason, morte alors que Jason était encore très jeune. Jason accepte cette requête et doit de ce fait retourner dans le village natal de sa mère, là où elle est enterrée, là où il a lui-même vécu ses premières années mais dont il n'a presque plus aucun souvenir, ayant déménagé avec son père, à la suite de la mort de sa mère. Alors qu'il est dans le cimetière pour accomplir sa promesse, il remarque avec étonnement que presque toutes les tombes indiquent une date de décès identique, le même jour, le même mois, mais avec une année d'écart à chaque fois. Face à cette étonnante constatation, il fouille dans sa mémoire et lui revient alors un souvenir flou d'une loterie particulière qui se tenait dans ce village…
