Miguel A. Núñez, Jr. (born August 11, 1964) is an American actor. He is best known for his supporting roles in The Return of the Living Dead and Life and leading roles in Juwanna Mann and Tour of Duty.

Núñez was born in New York City, is of Puerto Rican and Dominican, and was raised by his grandparents in Wilson, North Carolina. One of his first major screen roles was the supporting role of Spider in The Return of the Living Dead, and his first major starring role was that of Marcus Taylor on the CBS series Tour of Duty, where he was a main cast member for all three seasons of the show. He later appeared on the short-lived Fox network series My Wildest Dreams, as well as the UPN show Sparks as well as in movies such as Juwanna Mann. Núñez also held the recurring role of Zach in the second season of the Friends spinoff, Joey.

Nùñez is also a executive producer of the 2014 comedy-drama musical film, School, directed and written by Nick Cannon.

Biography

Né dans une famille de neuf enfants à New York, Nuñez a déménagé avec sa famille en Caroline du Nord, où il a grandi et a terminé ses études secondaires. Après le lycée, il s'installe à Los Angeles avec le rêve de devenir acteur.

Son expérience à Los Angeles n'a pas été aussi bonne qu'il l'avait espéré. Pendant les cinq premières années, il ne put décrocher aucun poste d'acteur pour la télévision ou le cinéma et fut forcé de gagner de l'argent d'une autre manière.

Au début des années 80, il commence à s'intéresser de près à l'industrie, remportant des rôles invités dans des séries comme Automan, The Twilight Zone, Amen, ainsi que des rôles dans des films comme Joy of Sex (1984), Friday the 13th: A New Beginning (1985). et Le retour des morts-vivants (1995).

In the 1970s, Black Dynamite, a Vietnam War veteran and former CIA officer, vows to clean up the streets of drug dealers and gangsters after his younger brother Jimmy is killed by a shady organization. In 2079, there is a colony on the Moon called Little America. Jamal Jeffries (Miguel A. Núñez, Jr.) is a UBA (fictional version of the NBA) basketball star whose undisciplined on-and-off-court antics have earned him a bad reputation in the basketball community. Jamal is dropped from his team, the Charlotte Beat and suspended indefinitely after he strips naked in protest of being taken out of a game.
