Miraj Grbic is Film, Television and Theatre actor born on July 17th, 1976. in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He currently lives in Los Angeles, California. Miraj graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo at the University of Sarajevo, where he studied Acting for four and a half years. Since 1996 he has performed in more than 60 theater plays on the main stage of the Sarajevo National Theatre. He performed in almost 40 Feature films in Bosnian, Croatian, German, Austrian, Italian, Irish, Polish, Turkish, Macedonian, Australian, Canadian and American productions. He starred as Bogdan Alexenko in Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, where he performed opposite Tom Cruise. Grbic starred in television shows such as Ruža vjetrova, Lud, zbunjen, normalan, Gang Related and Viza za budućnost. He has lived in Los Angeles since 2013.

Grbić was born on 17 July 1976 in Sarajevo. Since 1996 he had more than 60 theater premieres and played various characters in plays by Moliere, Shakespeare, Gogol, Chekhov, Camus and many others. As a student he started playing leading roles in Bosnian movies such as The Tunnel and Zaboravljena Poslovica, and until today he played in more than 30 movies. In 1977, fifteen years before the Bosnian War ravaged their lives, Halima’s (Alma Prica) niece Safija (Olga Pakalović) became pregnant by Slavomir (Mijo Jurišić), a Serb man. Beaten and ostracized by her Bosniak family, Safija gave the infant boy to the childless Halima to raise, telling Slavomir it was stillborn. Twenty-three years later, the devastating war has ended. Bodies are being identified through DNA samples and returned to families for burial. Halima’s husband is found, but the boy cannot be returned to her without a blood sample. And that would have to come from Safija who ran away years ago and married Slavomir. When Halima finally locates her, Safija refuses the blood test because she is afraid her husband will discover her deception. And other deceptions could be uncovered as well, including the shocking identity of the soldier who took Halima’s husband and the boy to their deaths.

In Budapest to intercept a courier working for an individual code-named "Cobalt", IMF agent Trevor Hanaway is killed by assassin Sabine Moreau. Hanaway's team leader, Jane Carter, and newly promoted field agent Benji Dunn extract Ethan Hunt and his source, Bogdan, from a Moscow prison. Ethan is recruited to lead Jane and Benji to infiltrate secret Moscow Kremlin archives and locate files identifying Cobalt. During the mission, someone broadcasts across the IMF frequency, alerting the Russians to Ethan's team. Although Benji and Jane escape, a bomb destroys the Kremlin and SVR agent Anatoly Sidorov arrests Ethan, suspecting him as a key player in the attack.

With an interval of fifty years in between, the film brings the experience of the start of the Siege of Sarajevo. Remake tells three tragic stories in one. The first is about the young Bosniak Tarik, who manages to get out of the besieged Sarajevo, where he was violently separated from his aged father. He reaches Paris in 1993, where he starts working on a film script about the life of his father Ahmed, who experienced the outbreak of the World War II in Sarajevo. Remake is however more than a war film. It is also a coming-of-age drama, with scenes in which Ahmed and Tarik (with an intervening period of fifty years) go out with their friends, have fun, fall in love.
