Juvenal de Hollanda « Naná » Vasconcelos (né le 2 août 1944 à Recife) est un percussionniste brésilien.
Vasconcelos a appris à jouer de toutes les percussions brésiliennes mais s'est spécialisé depuis les années 1960 dans le berimbau. Il est allé à Rio de Janeiro où il a joué avec le chanteur Milton Nascimento. C'est là que Gato Barbieri l'a découvert en 1970 et l'a embauché dans son orchestre. Ils ont joué au Festival de Jazz de Montreux, à New York et entreprirent une tournée en Europe. ensuite Vasconcelos resta à Paris, où il a réalisé son premier album Africa Deus.
À son retour au Brésil, il réalise l'album Amazonas et commence sa collaboration avec Egberto Gismonti. À New York il a fondé avec Don Cherry et Collin Walcott le groupe Codona. Il a travaillé aussi avec le groupe de Pat Metheny ainsi qu'avec Trilok Gurtu, Jan Garbarek, Arild Andersen, Andy Sheppard, Jim Pepper, Jean-Marie Machado et Paul Simon.
En 1995 il a été directeur artistique du Festival international des percussionnistes de Salvador de Bahia. En 2005 un documentaire Vasconcelos, Salis, Consolmagno le présente avec Antonello Salis et Peppe Consolmagno. Vasconcelos a écrit des musiques pour les chorégraphes Pina Bausch, Jonathan Lunn et John Neumeier.

Employé d'une agence de voyages à Paris, Jean-Arthur Bonaventure et son collègue « Gros-Nono » Dupoirier échafaudent un projet inattendu de séjour touristique : « Robinson, démerde toi – 3000 F, rien compris », c'est-à-dire l'occasion pour chaque client de revivre sur une île déserte l'expérience de Robinson Crusoé. La direction est enthousiaste et très vite, Jean-Arthur accompagné de « Petit-Nono », le frère de Gros-Nono, s’envolent pour les Antilles afin de préparer l’arrivée des premiers vacanciers. Le voyage, guère organisé, tourne bientôt à la déconfiture.

O Sertão das Memórias is a black-and-white film that tells the story of two Sertanejos, the inhabitants of Sertão. Maria is the female reincarnation of Jesus, representing the strength of the Sartanejo women. She invites the Beatas (holy women) on a mission of prayer for which they journey through the countryside, witnessing social unrest among the population. Maria meets the hero of the peasants, the strong worker Antero whose history intermingles with hers. Through mythical dreams, visions, and stories heard along their journey, we witness the unfolding of Biblical prophecy in which Old Testament texts mingle with the folktales of the Sertão. The film aims to show how people try to find strength in myths, art, and religion when faced with the harsh realities of life.
