Biography
Roger Jr. is the only child of car salesman Roger Clinton, Sr. and nurse Virginia Dell Cassidy. As a child, Bill (whose birth name was William Jefferson Blythe III) often had to protect young Roger from his periodically alcoholic and abusive father. From a brief relationship with Martha Spivey, he has a daughter named Macy (b. 1992). He became a musician and formed a rock band, which Bill Clinton described as talented in his autobiography. The film begins with a woman giving birth to a baby. Within a few minutes of his birth, the baby starts saying: "Ho, ho, ho!". Mother Claus calls her son, Frederick, over to meet his new brother, whom she has decided to name Nicholas. Mother Claus lovingly refers to the new baby as her little Saint Nick. During Christmas, when Nick opens his gifts including Fred's, he decides to give them away to orphans which makes Fred angry. Mother Claus advises Fred to be a better person by stating he should be more like his brother; this in turn causes Fred to resent Nick. Feeling isolated, Fred often climbs a tree to confide his problems in a bird. On one occasion, Nick cuts down the tree, saying that now Fred can bring it inside since he liked it so much. However, the birdhouse Fred's confidant lived in is smashed, causing the bird to leave; this causes a temporary rift between Fred and Nick.

The film starts with a parody of the 1981 Indiana Jones action film Raiders of the Lost Ark. Afterwards, the babies are chased out of the temple by a boulder, which is revealed to be Didi Pickles who is at the baby shower at the Pickles' house, where Didi is pregnant with a second baby, which everyone believes will be a girl. Didi goes into labor and her friends rush her to the hospital. While this is happening, the kids crawl off. When the baby is finally born after a montage of past lives, it is a boy and they name him Dillon, after Didi's cousin. Dil quickly becomes a very spoiled baby, crying non-stop for attention, keeping all of the babies' toys for himself and refusing to share with Tommy. After a particularly nasty fight between Tommy and Dil over Tommy's teddy bear, Stu has a conversation with Tommy about being a big brother and the responsibility he now has and assures him that one day he will be happy to have Dil as his little brother. He also gives Tommy a locket with a picture of Tommy and Dil taped together and a watch inside which he calls his "sponsativity", his term for responsibility.

Karen hitches a ride in Frank's car after hers breaks down. The violent Frank is travelling with his abused wife, on his way to sell stolen computer chips. Following a discussion, he suspects his wife is being unfaithful, leading to violence and a tragic series of events. Karen escapes, reaching a lab where a scientist has invented a time machine, and she returns by accident some minutes before the violent events. She tries to make things better, but instead makes things worse. Each time she goes back in time to interfere, she causes a worse outcome than before. Eventually Karen uses the machine to go back as far as it can take her and refuse Frank's offer of a ride in the first place. Without her interference, Frank is killed by his wife.

Bud "Squirrel" Macintosh (Shore) and Doyle "Stubs" Johnson (Baldwin) are best friends who live together in the same house.
