Ross Patterson aka St. James St. James, is an American actor and author who has appeared in over 20 films including The New Guy, Accepted, and the 2006 Sundance film The Darwin Awards. Ross also written, starred, and produced in six films, $50K and a Call Girl: A Love Story, 7-Ten Split, (with actress Tara Reid), Screwball: The Ted Whitfield Story, Darnell Dawkins Mouth Guitar Legend, Poolboy: Drowning Out the Fury, and FDR: American Badass!, as well as a 2007 pilot for MTV entitled The Barnes Brothers which did not get picked up. In 2015 his first novel At Night She Cries, While He Rides His Steed was released June 9th by Regan Arts. It is billed as the first ever "Romance Novel For Dudes". He was nominated for an MTV Movies Award for Best Spoof in 2008. Ross was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity at The Ohio State University in the late 1990s. Ross can be seen as the fast talking Hollywood music producer Joey Zane in the movie Garden Party which opened on July 11, 2008 in Los Angeles, New York, Portland, and Seattle.

Poolboy: Drowning Out the Fury starring opposite Danny Trejo, Jason Mewes, and Kevin Sorbo, was supposedly made in 1990, but only released to the public in 2013. Production started December 6, 2010 in Los Angeles and features the 32nd president of the United States riding a "wheelchair of death" to stop the world from werewolves who carry the polio virus, including werewolf versions of Hitler, Mussolini, and Emperor Hirohito.FDR: American Badass! was designated, "One of the 25 Weirdest Films Streaming on Netfix Right Now", by critics in 2013.

Bartleby Gaines (Justin Long) is a persuasive senior from William McKinley High School in Wickliffe, Ohio, who, among other pranks, creates fake IDs. His gifts do not extend to grades, however, and he receives rejection letters from all of the colleges to which he applies, including those with high acceptance rates. In an attempt to gain approval from his strict father (Mark Derwin), Bartleby creates a fake college, the South Harmon Institute of Technology (S.H.I.T.). His best friend, Sherman Schrader III (Jonah Hill), who has been accepted into his father's prestigious alma mater Harmon College, aids Bartleby and fellow rejects Rory Thayer (Maria Thayer), who only applied to Yale University; Hands Holloway (Columbus Short), who lost his athletic scholarship after an injury; and Glen (Adam Herschman), who failed his SAT exam. To make the "college" seem legitimate, Bartleby convinces Sherman to create a functional website for the school.

The movie opens with a car with a JATO rocket strapped to it. The movie then shifts to Michael Burrows, a criminal profiler for the San Francisco Police Department. Shot in documentary style, the film is ostensibly a dissertation by a film school grad that follows Michael throughout the story. Fired from the police force after his hematophobia allows a serial killer to get away, Michael wallows in a deep depression for several weeks before coming up with a way to combine his Darwin Awards obsession with his talent for profiling. He will help insurance companies detect people more likely to accidentally end their own lives, so they are not sold insurance policies. After impressing an insurance company manager with his profiling talent, Michael is paired up with Siri, a specialist in strange insurance cases.

Taking place shortly after the original, a professor at the fictional Cuesta Verde University has managed to subdue and contain a "Hyper sapiens" specimen, who is revealed to be an infected survivor from the first film. The professor experiments on the survivor, trying to determine the source of her immortality, with apparent disregard for the rotted state of her body. When he has created a serum that he believes will bring back the dead and grant immortality, he murders one of his students and injects her with the serum. She returns to life, infects the professor, and breaks out of the building.

The film begins with prison inmate Luther speaking directly to the camera to an unseen individual, telling the story of Dizzy Gillespie Harrison, an 18-year-old nerdy high school senior. Dizzy is friends with Nora, Kirk, and Glen, who together started a funk rock band and are addicted to video games. They attend Rocky Creek High School, where Dizzy is picked on by basically everyone, especially star football player Barclay. This occurs before and after sex symbol Tina Osgood holds his hands, causing him to have an erection and ends up activating the trap where the jocks belittle him with no mercy. Dizzy's white briefs were yanked from underneath his pants and placed around his head - revealing the erect penis in plain sight to nearly everyone instead of "covering it." The school librarian would eventually "break" it after Dizzy refuses to "hand" over the "weapon" to her. Dizzy is misdiagnosed with Tourette's syndrome; he is then placed on medication by the school counselor who advises his father to spend every moment possible with him. While at the mall's food court, the heavily medicated Dizzy makes a fool of himself at a church revival and gets arrested.
