Ravi (Sakthi), is a happy-go—lucky-youngster, who falls in instant love with Anjali (Gauri Munjal), his college mate. Nazar and Saratbabu are two rich and powerful rivals in a village. Nazar’s daughter Supriya and Saratbabu’s son Kalyan study in same college, where they both engage in few fights and bets. Kalyan and his gang’s attempts to enter girls hostel and succeeds at last, and he wins a bet with Supriya. Slowly their love blossoms under these petty things and they reach their village, where they are separated at railway station itself by their parents. Vacation ends and Kalyan reaches station to get back to his college, but Supriya does not turn up. Kalyan learns that her marriage is fixed, and gets off the train to reach Supriya’s house.

Sitaram (Chiranjeevi) is the son of the benevolent patriarch of his village who has been the Panchayat President for the past thirty years. Sitaram, his family and the village community are victimized by Vasundhara (Lakshmi) and Peddaiah (Kota Srinivasa Rao). Peddaiah's NRI son, Siva (Chinna) comes to the village from America to see Pappi (Ramya Krishna), the eldest daughter of Vasundhara, and a girl of Peddaiah's choice for him to marry, but he decides instead to marry Sitaram's sister, Malleswari (Ooha), a traditional Telugu girl. Peddaiah agrees to the marriage after he realises that the ancestral land which Sitaram's father had distributed to the coolies contains priceless granite deposits. He demands the land as dowry days before the proposed marriage. Sitaram's father refuses to take it back from the coolies. Peddaiah cancels the marriage. Vasundhara is angered by Siva's choice but dupes the coolies, steals their land and makes a deal with Peddaiah. Siva's marriage is fixed with Pappi without his knowledge.

Vijayakumar & Mohan Natrajan have been friends. Vijayakumar is an atheist while Mohan Natrajan is a temple priest . Sakthi (R. Sarathkumar) and his best-friend Thangamani (Goundamani) are taxi-drivers in Mumbai. Sakthi fights for the Tamil community against the local rowdies who want to expel them from their area. The Tamil association of Mumbai prepares the 25th anniversary function so the association's presidents invite the pillars of the association but only one person doesn't respond for the invitation : Karpagavalli, the wife of the late founder Sandanapandian. The presidents go to Karpagavalli's village Pasumpon to invite her but they are driven out from the village. In fact, Karpagavalli (Srividya) and her relatives (Sivaranjani, Kavitha and Kokila) are held prisoners by the heartless Duraipandi (Raghuvaran) in his palace. Under pressure, Duraipandi finally lets Karpagavalli go to the function in Mumbai. In the meantime, the police officers force the Tamil community to leave their place but they refuse. So the police officers kidnap and rape the young girls under the influence of Amara Settu (K. Rajpreeth). Sakthi turns berserk, he kills all the police officers and the main antagonist Amara Settu who created conflicts between the Tamil people and Hindi people. Therefore, Sakthi becomes a hero for the community and they ask him to flee instead of surrendering. By chance, Sakthi and Thangamani take the same train as Karpagavalli. Karpagavalli asks them to come to her village and she compels Sakthi to become the palace's protector. Later, Sakthi and Thangamani try to leave the village but Karpagavalli stops them. In the process, Karpagavalli was heavily wounded by Duraipandi's henchmen.

The movie revolves around a Tamil pop singer Inderjeet based in Bangalore who has a large female following. The movie opens with the death of a back-up dancer, Sandhya, in Inderjeet's group and soon a police detective is put in charge of the investigation. Raju (Karthik Muthuraman) and his sidekicks (Chinni Jayanth, Vadivelu and Thyagu) stole black money to help an orphanage. D.I.G. Mohanraj knew that they are thieves but he's unable to send them in jail. Raju and Radhika (Sivaranjani), Mohanraj's daughter, failed in love. Her father refuses to accept it so he arranged a marriage with Ajith (Udaya Prakash), a police officer. Raju drank alcohol and he became drunk, and he killed Ajith. When he came back to his car, there was Raju drunk at the back seat. Raju's look-alike said his flashback. His name was Somasekhar, fell in love with Bhavani (Kushboo Sundar) and married her. She worked at Chatterjee's (Nasser) Ganja estate. Chatterjee wanted Somasekhar's estate but Somasekhar didn't want to sell it to a criminal. Chatterjee's henchmen killed his wife who gave birth to a girl. Somasekhar, wounded, can't do anything. Few years later, Ajith kidnapped his daughter. Somasekhar, after told the flashback, reveals to Raju that he still will kill 2 people as Raju. Somasekhar went, to his daughter's nanny home who also worked for Chatterjee, as Raju and she asked him to be Somasekhar for some days. Raju's lover and his friends came to see him but Somasekhar advised to go to a place, they went there and Somasekhar's friend kidnapped them like Raju. Finally, they managed to escape. Somasekhar found where his child was kidnapped. Chatterjee caught Raju and Somasekhar. Somasekhar revealed that he gave his property and his daughter to Raju. Somasekhar killed Chatterjee and died.
