Suresh Oberoi (born Vishal Kumar Oberoi; 17 December 1946) is an Indian character actor. He is the father of Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi. He was born in Quetta, now Pakistan. and is a recipient of 1987 National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor. He started his career in Radio shows, Modelling and later moving to Bollywood making him a popular Character actor in the 1980s and much of 1990s.

Set in 1931, British India, the film tells the story of freedom fighters Bhagat Singh and Chandrashekhar Azad who have only motive in mind: Freedom for India.
