Tami Roman (born Tamisha Akbar; April 17, 1970) is an American Television personality, model, businesswoman and actress. She first appeared on The Real World: Los Angeles, the second season of MTV's long-running reality television series, The Real World. She appeared on many shows including an episode of One on One (Season 3, Episode 4). She is one of the five main cast members in the VH1 reality series Basketball Wives since its premiere in 2010.

Roman was born in Mount Vernon, New York, and raised in White Plains, New York. She is the former wife of former NBA basketball player Kenny Anderson, with whom she has two daughters named Lyric and Jazz. Roman can currently be seen on the new CBS show, Extant, as Cass Hendy alongside Halle Berry. She can also be heard on Tami Roman's Love Talk & Hot Jamz with advice columnist and rapper Willie D of the Geto Boys and Reggie Youngblood (Reggi YB, also known as her boyfriend). The show airs Monday thru Friday from 8-10pm Central time on Houston's KCOH Radio. Tami and her boyfriend Reggie Youngblood appeared on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars for its 3rd season which premiered May 29, 2015. On June 22, 2015, she recently announced on VH1 Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta: Afterparty Live, that she is six weeks pregnant. As of June 30, 2015, she suffered a miscarriage at 10.5 weeks.

She is currently working on her cosmetic line.

Biography

En 1993, Tami dégottait un rôle dans le MTV-Realityshow The Real World. En raison de la popularité ainsi obtenue elle pouvait présenter d'autres shows MTV comme Beach MTV, MTV Jams, Primetime MTV et Rude Awakening et jouait dans certains films.

En 1994, elle se mariait avec Kenny Anderson dont elle acceptait le nom et avec lequel elle a deux filles : Lyric Chanel et Kenni Lauren. Les deux divorçaient en 2001, et Tami remettait de nouveau le nom de famille commun Anderson.

À côté de la dissimulation, elle développe de propres idées de scénario et veut faire un CD comme chanteuse.
