Tracey Cherelle Jones (born December 27, 1970 in Pensacola, Florida) is an African American actress. She has been acting since childhood and has appeared in a multitude of commercials, movies, and television shows. She is best known for her role in Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood as Dashiki. Her younger sister is actress Tamala Jones.
She has appeared in a number of Wayans Brothers productions. She is to appear in Something Like a Business in (2010) as Mahogany.
She has also made cameo's in other films including Ice Cube's "The Player's Club" (as Tina the Bartender) and John Singleton's "Baby Boy" as Sharika
Tracey is also a talented and accomplished Artist and Designer. She has designed homes of many of her friends in the Entertainment Industry. Peter Sanderson (Steve Martin) is a workaholic tax attorney working for a set of competitive colleagues and bosses names of Tobias, Kline, and Barnes while he tries to turn his life around and having just separated from his wife Kate Sanderson (Jean Smart) and lost privileges to his children, 15-year-old Sarah Sanderson (Kimberly J. Brown) and 8-year-old Georgie Sanderson (Angus T. Jones). One day he tells his wife that the previously planned Hawaii trip will not happen, but he lets them be in their house for some allotted time. Then he shows up late to a restaurant where Peter must deal with Virginia Arness (Joan Plowright), an eccentric English billionaire, to bring her business to his firm. But while tending to his career, he found some time corresponding with an online friend known only as "lawyer-girl". On their first blind date, Peter learns that "lawyer-girl" is a black woman named Charlene Morton (Queen Latifah), a wrongfully convicted felon accused of bank robbery claiming her innocence who wants Peter's help in getting the charges dropped. He kicks her out but then decides let her stay due to the way, Mrs. Kline (Betty White) could feel if he was associated with her. Mrs. Kline, who is Peter's neighbor, is also his boss' sister and a racist bigot who sometimes plays poker with Georgie.

Jason Shepherd is a 14-year-old chronic liar living in the fictional town of Greenbury, Michigan who is constantly deceiving and misleading his way out of trouble. Jason tries to get out of writing his 1000 word essay by making up a lie, but he gets caught by his English teacher, Ms. Phyllis Caldwell, who alerts his parents, Harry and Carol Shepherd. Jason is given three hours to submit his paper, otherwise he will fail English and go to summer school. In a rush to turn in his paper, Jason accidentally forgets his report in the limousine of Marty Wolf, who gave him a ride to the community college to turn in his paper after Jason is hit by the limo. Wolf initially attempts to give the essay back to Jason, but when Wolf sees that Jason's story is excellent, it inspires him, and he decides to keep it for himself.

Ashtray (Shawn Wayans), Tray for short, is sent to the inner city to live with his father. Tray gets an education about life on the streets from his psychotic, gun-toting cousin Loc Dog (Marlon Wayans), self-hater Preach (Chris Spencer), and Crazy Legs (Suli McCullough). At a picnic Tray falls for the infamous Dashiki (Tracey Cherelle Jones) much to the distaste of ex-convict Toothpick (Darrell Heath). While Ashtray and Loc Dog head to buy some snacks, Toothpick and his posse confront Ashtray and hold him at gunpoint, until Loc Dog threatens them and they flee. Loc Dog and Ashtray get harassed in a Korean store by the owners and Loc Dog shoots at the owners when a remark is made about his mother. The two are then confronted by 'The Man' (a mysterious white, government figure) who kills the Koreans and tosses them his gun to frame them and leaves.
