Synopsis
Céline, Thomas et Maxence ont décidé de tout faire toujours à trois, et même se marier. Mais ils rencontrent des difficultés à adapter leur choix de vie à la réalité administrative ou économique de tous les jours... Ces grands enfants décident alors de s'inventer un monde imaginaire loin de tout où personne ne pourra venir les y déranger.Actors

Anthony "Tick" Belrose (Hugo Weaving), using the drag pseudonym of Mitzi Del Bra, is a Sydney-based drag queen who accepts an offer to perform his drag act at Lasseter's Hotel Casino Resort managed by a female friend named Marion in Alice Springs, a remote town in central Australia. After persuading his friends and fellow performers, Bernadette Bassinger (Terence Stamp), a recently bereaved transsexual woman, and Adam Whitely (Guy Pearce), a flamboyant and obnoxious younger drag queen who goes under the drag name Felicia Jollygoodfellow, to join him, the three set out in a large tour bus, which Adam christens "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert" for a four-week run in the Australian Outback town.

May Dove Canady is an awkward, lonely young woman, who suffered a troubled childhood due to her lazy eye. She has very few social interactions, her only "true friend" being a glass-encased doll named Suzie made by her mother and given to May for her birthday with the adage "If you can't find a friend, make one." May works at a veterinary hospital, assisting with surgeries. Her optometrist fixes May's lazy eye, first with glasses, then with a special form of contact lens. As May attempts to be more social, she becomes friends with Adam, a local mechanic. She has a fixation on his hands, which she considers to be the most attractive part of him, and they start dating. Meanwhile, May's lesbian colleague Polly begins to flirt with May. One day while feeling especially low, May remarks that Polly has a beautiful neck. They become friends and Polly gives her pet cat Lupe to May, ostensibly because of her "bitch" landlord.

Kenan (Mario Drmać), a Bosniak classical musician, and Milan (Tarik Filipović), a Serb, live in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina in a clandestine gay relationship. When the Bosnian War breaks out in 1992, they try to escape from the city. In order to hide from Serbian militamen, Kenan disguises himself as a woman and Milan passes him of as his wife. Together, they go to Milan's village in Eastern Bosnia, a Serb stronghold, where they continue to live in deception. Hanna and Simon are in a long-term relationship which, though loving, has grown sexually unexciting. Soon after Simon's mother dies from advanced pancreatic cancer, he discovers that he has testicular cancer and must undergo surgery and chemotherapy. The night of his surgery, Hanna has a sexual encounter with a man called Adam, and Simon learns that he had fathered a child seventeen years earlier, although the woman opted for an abortion. Simon, who had assumed that either he or Hanna was infertile, is assured that he should still be able to have children after his surgery. During his recovery, Simon and Hanna decide to finally wed. Barnie aime sa femme, sa maîtresse et son amant. Il travaille à Londres, mais habite en France. Issue de milieu modeste, la jeune Emma Eckhert commence sa carrière comme employée dans la chapellerie familiale. En 1921, elle connaît ses premiers ennuis avec la justice en même temps qu'elle scandalise son entourage par son homosexualité. Son mariage avec Moïse Nathanson, un ami de la famille plus âgé qu'elle, ne l'empêche ainsi pas de poursuivre sa liaison avec Camille Sowcroft, la fille d'un bijoutier, qui l'aide à s'enrichir en lui avançant de l'argent qu'Emma fait rapidement fructifier par d'astucieuses opérations boursières. En 1929, Emma est devenue l'une des banquières les plus appréciées de Paris. Mais sa fulgurante réussite lui attire entre autres l'antipathie du puissant banquier Horace Vannister, qui est une réplique du banquier Horace Finaly ; celui-ci intervient auprès du Président du Conseil Préfailles, qui est une réplique de Raymond Poincaré, pour faire interdire les activités d'Emma Eckhert, qui est une réplique de Marthe Hanau et la poursuivre en justice. Celle-ci finit par être assassinée au cours d'un meeting où elle expliquait aux épargnants qui lui avaient fait confiance, comment elle allait les rembourser.
