Add to a movie listBhagavan (English: The God) is a 2009 Malayalam film by Prashanth Mambully starring Mohanlal and Lakshmi Gopalaswamy. The film became famous because the entire film was shot in 19 hours. The film gives a message against terrorism. The story is about Dr. Balagopal who fights against a terrorist group who invaded the hospital between 3.00pm and 7.00pm.
The film was shot simultaneously at six different locations. Seven cameras were used to film the movie. The film was planned to be shot within 12 hours, but unexpected rain delayed the shooting. Prashanth Mambully was assisted by four associate directors and seven assistant directors. Cameraman Lokanathan was helped by 18 assistant cameramen.
The film was later remade into Tamil.
Synopsis
Months after the dreaded 2008 Mumbai attacks, a terrorist group led by Saifudeen (Daniel Balaji) planned bomb blasts at five locations in Cochin. At the same time, Sakriya Thomas, the Home Minister of Kerala, arrived at the hospital for his wife's delivery. Meanwhile, the terrorist group was planning to kidnap the Home Minister and his newborn baby. Saifudeen kidnapped three newborn babies and Dr. Balagopal (Mohanlal) came looking for them. Meanwhile, the Home Minister is kidnapped by Saifudeen's men. In the end, Balagopal kills Saifudeen and saves Home Minister and the babies.Actors

Aakash Rana (Ajay Devgn), is an illegal immigrant married to British citizen Nikita (Kangna Ranaut) living as a successful engineer but is eventually caught and deported from the UK thus crushing his dreams of an ideal life. Four years later, Aakash returns with vengeance on his mind and teams up with his former employees Aadil Khan(Zayed Khan) and Megha (Sameera Reddy) to wreak some havoc. What follows is a bomb threat on a train and a tensed Railway Control officer Sanjay Raina (Boman Irani) and Anti-Terrorism officer Arjun Khanna (Anil Kapoor) trying every trick in the book to avert the disaster and to apprehend the culprits. Sanjay Raina trying his best to save his daughter Piya (Avika Gor) and the passengers in the train who are thrown in the mix are police officer Shivan Nair (Mohanlal) and his team of cops, who are escorting a prisoner on the same ill-fated train. Aakash demands 10 million euros and then he will tell how to disarm the bomb. The ministry does not want to give the money, but Khanna convinces them that the money will be given back and is a way to lure the terrorists. After following Aakash's instructions and dropping the money in a river, he walks away. Meghna gets the money and tries to get away. She evades the cops after a vicious chase but unfortunately she is killed by a van in an intersection. Khanna finds out that Khan is one of the bombers and chases him. Khan is shot in the leg, but he gets away after jumping from the bridge and landing on a jet ski driven by Aakash. Aakash once again demands money and tells it to be left in a dustbin. The dustbin falls inward and Aakash runs away with the money even though the police attempt to pursue him. Khanna and his team find out where Aadil is and go there to arrest him. However, Aadil commits suicide with a bomb almost killing Khanna. Aakash calls Raina and tells him that a note has been left at a restaurant called Delhi Darbar that tells how to defuse the bomb. However, the restaurant catches on fire and the letter is burnt. Aakash visits Nikita and his son and they arrange to leave UK that night via flight. Khanna visits Nikita and tells who her husband is. After changing the plan, that they should leave UK via train because the police has found out about his plan of leaving via plane, he goes to the train station. There he sees a video of Raina asking the bomber to call again as the letter was burnt. Aakash calls Raina and tells him that the bomb was not connected to the wheels and the train will not explode if stopped. Raina stops the train and everyone disembarks safely. Nikita who is helping Khanna now, goes to the train station and sees Aakash and the news that the bomb threat was a hoax. She lets Aakash go, but Khanna finds out as Aakash's son calls him Daddy. Khanna chases him and they fight. After Aakash pleas to Khanna to let him go and explains why he took such drastic actions. Realizing that Aakash was a victim of deportation and wants to just be with his family again at peace, Khanna stays silent (hinting he will let him leave scotfree). However, the police arrive and after seeing that Aakash had a gun, they shoot him.

The recently dismissed police commissioner of Chennai, Inspector General Raghavan Maraar (Mohanlal), describes in a voice-over about his sudden termination due to a common man who walked into his life. Following a tip from a small time lodge owner (Sadique), the ATS conducts a search at the rooms where a group of suspicious youths stayed. Baba Kalyani IPS (Mohanlal), the head of ATS M3 division finds certain vital clues, which he wants to follow after. Upon the permission from Bose Ninan (Venu Nagavally), the IG of police, Baba Kalyani takes arrives in Kochi. He is posted in Law & Order department as undercover with Godwin Joseph (Biju Menon) and a couple of ATS officers assisting him. All his men were newly inducted IPS officers. At Kochi, Kalyani clashes with advocate Ashokan (Murali) and Advocate Madhumitha (Mamta Mohandas), his daughter, who was his ex-girlfriend. A bundle of counterfeit currency is found at a local bank, which was transferred from the account of a charity organization run by Sait Isra Mohammed Haji(Saikumar), a respected businessman. Baba Kalyani reaches out the residence of Isra Mohammed at the same night, Isra denies any knowledge about any hawala dealings in the state. The cash was transferred from the account by Babur (Indrajith Sukumaran), Isra Mohammed's son-in-law, who is also a college lecturer. Babu is king-pin of a terror organization in the state. He along with a bunch of young men had secretly undergone Jihadi training in Pakistan and is planning a massive explosion. But unaware of this, Isra supports him thinking Babu is a normal college lecturer busy with his own life. One morning Isra arrives at Baba Kalyani's residence informing about a group of suspicious young men recently seen at the nearby mosque. He also adds that the Muslyar of the mosque has some doubts regarding their activities. Baba Kalyani, along with Godwin and their group conducts a raid at the house and gathers vital information. The house gets exploded, signing the storage of inflammable explosives. Baba Kalyani, from the prints, maps and photographs concludes that their next target is Palani, a divine pilgrimage center in South India. He arrives at Palani along with his team, where meets up Raghupathi (Siddique), the IG of Tamil Nadu police. With the support of local police, Baba seize the trucks in which the explosives were stored. Baba sends Isra Mohammed as a negotiator to Babu who was hiding along with a group of Jihadis. But unwilling to give up the plan,Babu decides to shoot down Isra. The ATS team conducts a commando operation and shoots down the jihadis aborting their plan.

In 1850 (nine years after the events of the first film), California is voting on whether to join the United States of America as a state. A wild gunman with wooden teeth, Jacob McGivens, attempts to steal some ballots, but Zorro chases after him and recaptures the votes. In their scuffle, McGivens pulls off Zorro's mask. A pair of Pinkerton agents recognize him as Don Alejandro de la Vega. Zorro fashions a makeshift mask from his costume and rides off on his stallion, Tornado, to deliver the votes to the governor. Upon returning to his mansion, Alejandro is greeted by his loving wife, Elena (Catherine Zeta-Jones). Elena believes that Alejandro can now up give his alter ego, but Alejandro is sure that the people will still need him. The next day, after sending their son Joaquin to school, Elena is confronted by the Pinkertons, who disclose their knowledge of Zorro's identity. Soon after, Elena is forced to have Alejandro served with divorce papers.

The film opens with two bandits breaking into a railroad telegraph office, where they force the operator at gunpoint to have a train stopped and to transmit orders for the engineer orders to fill the locomotive's tender at the station's water tank. They then knock operator out and tie him up. As the train stops it is boarded by the bandits—now four. Two bandits enter an express car, kill a messenger and open a box of valuables with dynamite; the others kill the fireman and force the engineer to halt the train and disconnect the locomotive. The bandits then force the passengers off the train and rifle them for their belongings. One passenger tries to escape, but is instantly shot down. Carrying their loot, the bandits escape in the locomotive, later stopping in a valley where their horses had been left.
