Dariya Dil is a 1988 Hindi family drama film directed by K. Ravi Shankar and starring Govinda, Kimi Katkar, Roshni and Raj Kiran. The film was released on 8 January 1988 in India.

The film has gained renewed interest as one of its song and dance sequences, in which Govinda's character Ravi appears dressed as Superman and Kimi Katkar's character Radha appears dressed as Spiderwoman, has become a widely seen video on YouTube with almost 10 million views as of March 2013.

The movie revolves around the fact that you reap what you sow. Gangaram Verma has worked for the local municipality for several years, and is known in the community for being honest. Many contractor's have attempted to bribe him but never succeeded. During a felicitation ceremony for GangaRam, he rejects a garland of 1Lac rupees from one of the contractor's Prem Kumar. So Prem kumar decides to teach Gangaram a lesson. He hires Gangaram's only son, Vijay (who worships Lakshmi and hates being poor), in his office, and subsequently gets him married to his only daughter, Sapna. In course of time, they have a son Ravi. They then scheme to get Gangaram to trust them by showing Ravi, and upon doing so, they get him to sign his property to them As Ravi gets more attached to grandparents and also because Vijay and Sapna have got the property they make Gangaram and his wife, Laxmi, homeless. They then lie to Ravi that his grandparents are dead. Years go by, then one day Ravi comes across a coolie who resembles his grandfather.

Officer Kapil Khanna was a strict enforcer of the law. In order to gain evidence against the local mafia Don D'Costa he seek a favour from his underworld friend Aazam Khan a man with a golden heart. Aazam Khan was successful in securing evidence against D'Costa but the mafia got wise to it and before Aazam Khan could reach the law, D'Costa with the help of his friend Dalpat Dalal liquidated him. The blame of Aazam Khan's death was owned by a petty driver Nathulal for a price paid by Dalpat Dala. Aazam Khan's little son Akbar swore vengeance against Police Officer Kapil Khanna as he felt him responsible. Kapil Khanna's wife delivered a baby boy in the hospital of D'Costa, so did Dalpat Dalal's wife to a baby girl. D'Costa returned Dalpat's favour by interchanging the two on Dalpat's insistence. Kapil Khanna was enraged at this and he took to a legal battle against the hospital authorities.

Raja Babu (Govinda) is a poor orphan adopted by a wealthy village couple (Kader Khan and Aruna Irani). He is a typical country bumpkin, good-hearted but lacking in urban manners. His vanity, not discouraged by his mother's doting, leads him to have his photograph taken often at the village photo studio, each time in a different outfit. He is always accompanied by his sidekick Nandu, (Shakti Kapoor). Nandu is of a lower rung in the social strata, evidenced by his refusal to be seated on Raja's motorcycle, even when implored: the same kindness extended by the wealthy Singh family in adopting Raja is evident in the family's treatment of Raja's friend, in spite of Nandu's clownish antics.
