Digvijaya (Kannada: ದಿಗ್ವಿಜಯ) is a 1987 Indian Kannada film, directed by Somu and produced by Geetha Srinath, Somu and M S Karanth. The film stars Ambarish, Srinath, Shankar Nag and Ambika in lead roles. The film had musical score by Hamsalekha.

The films opens to a visual narration with a series of ancient paintings, of a wealthy kingdom named Bherunda that existed around 700 years ago at the erstwhile Mysore State (present-day Karnataka), ruled by king Aditya Devanarayana. As a battle with the kingdom's enemies approached, he ordered that all the kingdom's wealth be transported and stored in a faraway island, in a cave. Having won the battle, the enemies returned empty-handed. But, the location of the wealth remained a mystery for centuries.

Ambika and Radha are Rajini's cousins. Rajini likes Ambika but she does not because she wanted a wealthy life but Radha loved Rajini. Rajini did not accept her because of her silly things and she is younger than Ambika. Then Ambika was forced to marry him and to give birth to a child (Meena). Then she ran away with her boss son. Later everyone was sad and ashamed. Ambika's father wanted Rajini to marry Radha so that the child (Meena) would have a mother. He agrees and marries her. They lead a happy life. During the climax, Ambika reforms and wants to see her child (Meena). They saw each other and became to come closer. In the end, Ambika dies and Rajini does the funeral.

Suriya (Radha), a student wishes to get a very popular singer, Shankar (Mohan) to sing in her college festival. Initial attempts to meet Shankar prove futile as he is a recluse. Nonetheless, she breaks into his home to meet him but is shocked to discover him in an inebriated state. She makes efforts to make him sober and come to the festival. It works as Shankar performs at the festival. Over time, as they become friends, Shankar stops drinking and Suriya falls in love with him but he has a dark past which is then revealed.
