Rajendra Prasad is a magician who works with his friend Gundu Hanumanta Rao. He one day finds a cute little girl bruised and finds out that her uncle Kota Srinivasa Rao killed her parents. The girl manages to escape when he's about to kill her as well. Now Kota Srinivasa Rao's after her and Rajendra Prasad protects her. When he does, he gets blamed for a murder committed by Kota Srinivasa Rao and is arrested while the doctors refuse to give the girl her eye operation. Will the girl ever get her eye operation and how Rajendra Prasad stops the villains forms the rest of the story.

The film begins with Jayanthi (Jayasudha) gives birth to baby boy Chinna (Master Prabhu) in jail. Since Jayanti is a life imprisonment prisoner, she keeps sentry Shantamma (Nirmalamma) as her son's guardian. Papa Rao (Kota Srinivasa Rao) maternal uncle to Jayanthi and his Hari (Srihari) always harasses Jayanti for her property. Krishna (Jagapathi Babu) a chronic bachelor, who hates women because his elder brother Krishna Mohan Rao (Raja) is killed by his lover. Radha (Soundarya) a young and beautiful girl falls in love with Krishna, but he rejects her love because of his hatred on women. Justice Ram Mohan Rao (ANR) is a retired honest judge who lives with a joint family. His wife Parvathi (Rohini Hattangadi) hates her husband since he made the police find his second son Venu (Brahmaji) who was a wanted Naxalite. Actually, Ram Mohan Rao thought he could make Venu, surrender to police but accidentally Venu dies in Police encounter.
