Ritu Shivpuri (born 22 January 1975) is an Indian film actress and model, notable for her work in Hindi and Kannada cinema. Daughter of late actors Om and Sudha Shivpuri, Ritu made her acting debut in a leading role at the age of 17 in the 1993 film Aankhen, which was one of the highest grossing films of the year.

Shekhar (Sanjay Kapoor) and Nandini (Karisma Kapoor) are friends living in Canada with their two uncles. Shekhar proposes to Nandini and she says yes and now they have a young son named Raja. Shekhar hears breaking news of violence in India, the family journeys to his ancestral house in rural North-East State of India and Nandini is shocked to see that Shekhar's family is embroiled in feudal gang wars. Shekhar's father is Narasimha (Nana Patekar). Shekhar tries to bring peace between the warring gangs, but is attacked by the rival gang & killed on way to a re-conciliatory meeting that he wanted to attend on his father's behalf. Nandini feels insecure and decides to leave India with her son but Narasimha imprisons them. Desperate to escape, she goes on a difficult journey to return to Canada with the help of Shekhar's mother and sister. Wanted by Narasimha, Nandini seeks help from drifter Jai Singh (Shahrukh Khan) who after hesitation, helps her and her son board a train to Jaipur. In order to protect Nandini and her son, Jai fights with the goon and dies after killing the goons. Meanwhile, Shekhar's mother begs his father to let Nandini and her son go. However, Narasimha goes but at the airport, he gets emotional and after kissing his grandson, allows them to go. The films ends with Nandini along with her son boarding a plane to Canada.

Raj Malhotra (Raju) (Govinda), a detective, goes on a European trip to help his friend Sanjay Khanna (Nirmal Pandey) prove that his wife is having an extramarital affair. Anjali sends her friend (Rani Mukerji), who shares the same name, on this trip to get information regarding her husband. In a mix-up of different identities, Raju and Anjali fall in love but get into a fight because they think they are married already with someone else. Then their tour finishes. Then Anjali decided to marry the fbi officer he met in the beginning. Raj finds out she is not married and goes to stop his marriage. Anjali does not want to listen to raj. Then raj marries her by tricking. Then he goes to the airport. Then her friend and her husband come and tell her how Raj is not married. Anjali tells them how raj married her. Anjali runs to the airport to stop Raj. At the end they are together.

Mob boss Kaalkeshwar Singh (Amrish Puri) has an issue with a fellow mobster who wants to expand his own sphere of influence. During a confrontation, Albert (Deepak Shirke) attempts to shoot Kaalkeshwar, but due to the intervention of Arjun (Sunil Shetty), Albert is himself killed. Appreciative, Kaalkeshwar asks Arjun to spend some time on his estate out of town. He learns that Arjun's girlfriend, Maria (Ritu Shivpuri), had had then killed herself out of shame after having been molested by Albert. Her death has been now avenged. Kaalkeshwar introduces Ajun to his subdued and submissive wife, Monica (Monica Bedi). Unknown to Ajun, Kaalkeshwar is extremely jealous, and had even killed a man for simply shaking her hand and complimenting her. His anger is unimaginable when he learned that his house guest Ajun and his wife Monica have begun an affair.

Hasmukh Rai (Kader Khan) has a problem. As a matter of fact, two problems — his two sons: Munnu (Chunky Pandey) and Bunnu (Govinda Ahuja). The duo are notorious slackers, always up to no good, and involved in elaborate practical jokes. It comes to Hasmukh's attention that his sons have been lying to him about their college grades — in studies and sports — and have not been attending school for the last three years. As a result, they are kicked out of college and, ultimately, their home. Later, one of their practical jokes gets out of hand, and Bunnu disappears, presumed dead. At the same time, Munnu gets involved with a conspiracy of killing Bunnu. Meanwhile, from a small Indian village, Bunnu's identical cousin, Gauri Shankar, arrives in town. He is mistaken for Bunnu which leads to a hilarious misunderstandings and constant uproar.
